Very similar in feel. Both are very cool to the touch and just fit the palm of your hand just so!! :)

if i was building a smoker, i would go 24" pipe.18",you cant fit a brisket besides sideways. 24 will give you more options even if you get a shorter pipe

Sent from my GT-P7510

I have a lot easier access to 18" pipe. I would have to pay for the 24" pipe. I was planning to cut it in half and weld in some plate so that it was oval shaved like so.

I got an early birthday present from my parents. A dremel 4000! Pretty happy with it. I actually could've really used it today at work. lol

Man I had a Dremel that my dad gave to me when I was about 8 or 9 years old to do something for Boy Scouts... pinewood derby car maybe? Anyhow it lasted until I was almost 30. I had it out in the shed and the moisture caused a bit to jam in the collet and I could not get it out. But the motor and everything else worked great. Anyhow, since that one seized up on me I've bought 3 more. A Dremel 9000 Advantage (like a rotozip) and an XPR 400. The Advantage broke the flex shaft in about 6 months and the standard flex shaft would not attach.. you had to spend 2x the money on the one for the Advantage. Well it was clunky so I just cut my losses and bought the XPR 400. It lasted a couple years and I was cutting the ends of my old AP bumper and it smoked it. My current one works (pretty sure its a 4000 as well) and it works good. Hopefully it will last. Maybe I should have bought the extended warranty. :)

Yeah sounds like you need to invest in some air tools Sean. lol leave the little stuff for the dremel.

Also got in a DeWalt laser level and a laser plumb as well for work. Should make my life so much easier.

Also ordered two 3" and two 6" Irwin "C" clamps. Much cheaper online than at home depot.

I finally broke down and got some magnetic trays after losing a cotter pin the last time I tore my truck apart. And thanks to using Rich stools, I'll be picking up a craftsman mechanic rolling stool today. Those chairs beat sitting on the tire to work lol

I have a couple of the magnetic trays and I do not know how I kept from losing so many bolts before I had them. They really should be on a top 10 list somewhere for shop tools.

Yeah I'm really paranoid about where I place my bolts and losing that cotter pin was nerve wracking bc if I lost that, what else did I lose? So I ordered an 11" and a 6" tray

I love those magnetic trays... Only downside is grinder shavings. Mine look like chia pets at times. :)

DarkHelmet

So you're saying there's a chance!
So my dad brings this over as a gift yesterday. It's an 18 volt cordless impact from Milwaukee tools. Have any of you ever used one?

I have their smaller one and I fucking love it. Been wanting to get the half inch one but haven't had a need as of yet since I got the new pneumatic one.

Good deal. He said one of the two batteries is junk and I was just wondering if it was going to be worth finding and buying a new one. I have only had pneumatic impacts.
