Pick me up two sets of 90° snap ring pliers. One cheapo and one knipex. I bought the cheapo because it had a longer snout, plus it was dirt cheap lol

So funny you say that. I blew another roller out yesterday. That's three this year I've killed. Two on the basment block walls and one priming/texturing/painting a bedroom.

I never even knew they had them with bearings. Wish we had this conversation a few hrs ago before I got back from the store with another generic sw roller lol
Once you get a premium paint roller, you'll never go back.

I love my knipex snap ring plier set. Mainly it's because the tips just lock into the snap rings and hold it in place so well.

So I spent 6 hours in the garage working on the trailer yesterday. The cordless Milwaukee angle grinder... I wish it had never entered my garage. After spending the day using it with the 6.o battery it was only half dead and still going strong.

Now I am debating a second cordless angle grinder. That one tool made working in multiple areas for cutting, cleaning drops, and then cleanup during prep so much easier. I had two corded grinders on the bench I never touched except to move them out of the way.

Only time I use my corded grinders is for heavy grinding jobs where I'll burn through batteries or it'll be too much of a load for the motor on a cordless drill. But the cordless grinder is by far one of the best tools I've bought, I use it a lot more than I thought I would.

Extended grinding sessions with the 6.0 battery get a bit tough but if I broke it up into batch work it was no problem. The larger batteries do throw the balance off a bit.

Stopped by Home Depot to see if I could pick up a couple M12x1.5 nuts and ended up leaving with a 1/2" drill bit and a second Milwaukee grinder. They had it marked down some so I figured it was better to pick it up while I was still doing work on the trailer instead of waiting till I was between projects.

Its nice to have a flap disk on one and a cut off wheel on another. When you get more you can have a wire wheel on another and a thicker grinding disk on another... and so on and so forth. :) But nice call!

At this point I have four grinders - two cord and two cordless. I should be set for a while I hope.

This is pretty slick!

Damn, that's actually pretty sweet. The pneumatic palm nails have been out for a long time but this electric one is pretty nice.

thats what it reminded me of, the palm nailers are nice for tight spots. I’d imagine this will be just as good if not better than something like that assuming the battery life is decent.

Horrible fright is having a 20% off sale for presidents day weekend so I picked up a low profile long reach jack, it’s been on my list but didn’t want to spend full price. Their older Pittsburg jack I’ve had for almost 10 years and it’s still kicking without issue.

here’s a comparison of the 4 ton Daytona, 3 ton Pittsburg, and 3 ton Daytona long reach low profile. So far I like it. It pumps up right away much faster than the other two plus it has the foot pedal. It is pretty damn heavy, but I don’t plan on ever picking it up again

Same one I have. It's been great for the last few years. Don't think mine has the foot pedal though.

Good to know, yeah I am not sure if they added that foot pedal to the later models but it's a nice feature. I'll likely not use it much with a wide open shop but if you're in a tighter area where the swing of the bar would be impeded it can definitely come in handy.

Makes sense because my framing gun can't sink 3-1/2" nails with a 1/4" air hose but has no issue driving them in with a 3/8" air hose.
