One of mine (8 years old or so) made that smell and some magic smoke came out. But she is still running. Don't count them out until they are. That being said, when it does die I will get a Fuel replacement.

Finally broke out my Drill Doctor X750.. man that thing is awesome! Zero excuses for dull drill bits again. Wish I would have used this thing long ago.

I think it was 84 or 85 a guy in tooling at Douglas Aircraft invented a deal to automatically sharpen drills. It was a pretty amazing deal from money savings. It had a huge hopper for the drills to go in and sharp drills came out the other end.

I will tell you that the Drill Doctor is awesome.. I had 2 dull as shit drill bits I was using. broke it out.. less than 3 minutes each and they were working like new. Took me a few minutes to learn how to use it, but its simple.... hell even I can do it!

Here's a guy that does some amazing work. I would love to punk him by bringing my truck to him to see what he could do. The reason I put this here is because Mel looks at his microfiber towels like Mr. 'Back sees his Milwaukee collection.

As much as many of you may think it would be a bit much to listen to a 10 minute video on rags, I think you will benefit from watching it. Watch it at 2x speed and it will go by faster. You will essentially get half of your time back.

I bought a Milwaukee cold cut saw.. love it. Only downside is cutting on the ground (as it is with most metal cutting chop saws). Someday I want to make a stand with wings to support the steel.

Just get a couple of these. And they fold up flat for storage. So they're out if the way when you don't need them.
