Picked up a Motive Power Bleeder to make bleeding brakes easier. It arrived today. I have new braided brake lines for the rear of the Taco to install so I'll test it out tomorrow. I've wanted one of these for a while. Not that $$ just seemed like a tool you don't need. Anyhow. I got tired of gravity or pumping the pedal bleeding. So we'll see. Hope it doesn't suck.

I bought a Taco power brake cap off fleebay and modded the power bleeder tube to accept it so I no longer have to mess with those crappy chains around the resi. Word to the wise though - keep the psf low otherwise the cap will fly off spraying brake fluid all over

Cool! Got any pics of the mods?

Realized this was the most hypocritical post I've ever made. Like I need an excuse to buy a new tool says the guy with 6 of most every normal tool. LOL.

Lol

Since I got a second grinder it has made metal work easier. I wish I had bought one years ago now.

I have 6 grinders.. it does make metal work easier when you never have to swap out disks or wire cups/brushes.

Parents bought me a Drill Doctor 750X for Christmas. Now I just need to watch some YouTube vids on how to use it without fucking up drill bits.

New welding good got here today. Going to try it out in the morning to weld some fenders on my dads trailer.

If I can remember Ill throw some up. I basically just bought a "new" cap off fleebay, drilled a hole in the center of it, and attached a tube to it via hose clamp/barb fitting.

Sounds easy enough. I'll check for a cap online.

Just don't over pressurize...the cap will fly off and spray brake fluid all over the place like a bad 70's porn

I just did it because I'm always solo wrenching and those chains made me want to jump off a bridge.

Just ordered a cap off Amazon... under $10. I figured the cap wouldn't take too much pressure. I might look into a different way to retain it without using the chains. Need to look at it once I get home. Worse case, like you said, just don't over pressurize.

Picked up an 18v Milwaukee grinder since we have to have our own for class. But I might end up picking up a corded one instead and just use this one around the shop.

I have three (plug in ones) on my welder cart. Cut off wheel, grinding disc and 60 flap wheel.

I have an 18v Milwaukee grinder as well. Plus 5 other plugin ones. I grab the cordless one 10x more than the others. I plan to get another cordless. I'm with Rogers mindset, I don't like to change discs or attachments out.

I have a corded one already in the shop but it's slide switch instead of paddle switch. And I fucking hate it. I like the Milwaukee cordless but I figure at some point I'll forget to charge the battery before class and I'll end up having to run to Lowes between classes and buy a corded one.
