One of the BEST tools I have is my cordless Makita. Expensive but I use the crap out of it.

x2... I'll wait for them to go on sale for 29.99 though

Black Friday usually has Gear Wrench brand for 50% off. Well the past two years have had that anyhow.

That effed up! Probably costs $19 for the one 12mm wrench too.

I was helping a guy rebuild his calipers yesterday and doing my brakes... I noticed that my spindle to UCA bolt was loose but I didn't have a 15mm 12 point. Then he broke out a cheap set of those 'one-size-fits-all-bolts' sockets and perfect! I may have to get a set of those!

My only issue with those new black Craftsman tools... Made in China. :( They look cool though. I have a set of the wrenches and while they are a little short, they works good.

For a few years, while I was accumulating my power tool collection and doing a lot of home renovation, I would buy the Tool Guide http://www.finewoodworking.com/SkillsAndTechniques/SkillsAndTechniquesArticle.aspx?id=32867 , http://www.finewoodworking.com/ToolGuide/ToolGuideArticle.aspx?id=31256 Each year it had reviews on different items, and I would then reference that when time came to buy the tool. Since the magazine is published by Fine Woodworking the quality of the tools they tested was always top notch. They also had 1000's of reviews from the users, the home hobbiest to your general contractors, and they had category wins for that as well. So not only was the ratings based on the editors review, but the guys who use the tools every day or once a month. You could see editors pick, and readers pick.

Found a way to read one back issue, you can also download, but I wouldn't recommend it. They want access to your Facebook account or for you to upload something of your own. But you can view it online without any hassle.

If you buy at sears say on Wednesday and they drop prices on Thursday all you have to do is bring in your receipt and they will refund the difference. I have done it a couple times.
