Yeah I have several Knipex pliers... love them. Not cheap but you can just feel the quality in them.

Several years ago Lowes stopped carrying them and blew out their inventory... picked up about 10 pair for 50-75% off or more. Some were normally $40 or so and I picked them up for well under $10. I should have went around to other Lowes.

Dammit! Wish I knew about it then.

Heads up! Craftsman Table Saw recall. It can collapse while you are using it; obviously letting the operator fall into it and get cut up.

Craftsman Portable Table Saws Made by Rexon Recalled Due to Laceration and Impact Injury Hazards; Sold Exclusively at Sears

Damn. Hopefully Stanley/Black and Decker will turn that brand around.

I had a Rigid radial arm saw that was given to me. Barely used, one house build. I sold it because it scared me. My uncle severered his thumb on a Delta radial arm saw when I was in the garage and saw it. He wasn't drunk and it wasn't his first time using is. Thing just bit and lunged forward and got his hand. His thumb was hanging on by just some skin. Luckily he got to the ER quickly and they saved it... minus some feeling in it. I thought I would be cool with using the one given to me but nope. Sold it and gave proceeds to the guy who gave it to me.

Could of used that last weekend. Instead I spilled oil all over Ant's new garage floor :BangHead:

:shifty:

Nope. Did oil change/tire rotation/engine bay cleaning/wiper replacement/plugged a tire on the Subaru.

"If" I had known Ant was off all this week I could of taken a few days and got it done, but not sure if he wanted to spend his vacation working on my rig. Communication is key and I'm always lacking in that area. No way n hell Ill mess with my truck at a "meet" type situation. Less people the better for that swap IMO.

I spent 3 full 10 hour days helping a good friend of mine make some "get this place ready to sell" type repairs to his girl friends house. She was extremely grateful and tried several times to pay me but I refused. The friend in question has helped me about a million times so I was just there to pay him back a few favors.

Few days later I had a package on my door step but hadn't ordered anything. Pretty awesome gift, I guess she found a way to get around me not accepting payment, lol. I have been wanting one of these for awhile now. It's 3/8" drive, compact & light weight, 210 ft lbs of torque, possibly my new favorite tool. Right out of the box I went to test it on my rusty trailer lug nuts but didn't have a 3/8" socket big enough. Damn it! Hit up Amazon and fixed that, 2 days later I zipped off those rusty trailer lugs no problem. I like these Gearwrench Impact sockets, 8-21mm, most sets I looked at didn't go past 19mm.

While I was shopping for the 3/8" sockets I found another set that I had to have also, ended up ordering from ebay because they were a couple bucks cheaper with free shipping and I had a $25, so I got a pretty sweet deal on this set. This is the Gearwrench 84935N, 1/2" drive, 29 piece, deep metric set, from 8mm all the way to 36mm with out skipping any. I know that some of them may never get used but this should hopefully cover anything I will ever need.

Those are some nice additions to your tool set. I've been meaning to pick up one of those impacts.

I have those same Gearwrench sockets Rob.. I have pretty much every socket set they make except the 1/4 impact socket set (didn't see a need). Anyhow, mine are kept in the cases and under the work table.. problem is that you don't know which is which. I just used a silver sharpie (later a silver paint pen) to label them. I have a socket drawer in my tool box but its filled already.

Oh and I'll post this again. But this place is great for buying Gearwrench items. For one they are usually cheaper than Amazon and secondly they have some amazing buy one get one free deals that change pretty often. Around the holidays is a great time to beef up the tool collection.

Thanks to @yotarob for the post about the 3/8" impact. I ordered a DeWalt one off Amazon. Didn't even realize they made them

I have the older non FUEL version of the 3/8's impact. Love that thing... I bet that FUEL one is way better though.

Yeah they don't make a brushless 3/8" impact but whatever. I'll use the shit outta that thing. I got the tool only so it was cheaper than getting it with the battery.

Scored on a NTXTools.com BOGO. Two Makita vaiable speed 7" polishers with carry cases and a couple pads each plus a Bluetooth job box. Amazon price on each polisher was over $200 and the job box was $100... all three for $204! Now do I need two polishers? No.. but I do need one and its the same price so WTH. The only difference between the two polishers is the pads they came with. One came with 2 pads and one came with one.
