I am on the look out for a good deal on a new or used mig welder for a nephew who is about to graduate high school. Please let me know you see or know of anything.

Getting work done on my press today. Of course I cannot find my chop saw blades and need to pick up a 5/8s and 1" drill bit. But hopefully it will be bolted together this afternoon and close to functional.

It will be 36" tall and has a 20" bed. The whole thing will work nicely on a bench top while allowing me to use the space underneath for storage.

I have a $75 set of cable cutters. I have a number of 00 cables that need to be shortened. One could say, "You don't have those cable cutters." They are half right. I do own them. I just can't find them. Looks like I doing these bitches by hand. :(

I can totally relate to this. I'll tell a sure fire way to find them. Buy another set. The originals will show up as soon as you use the second set.

Picked up a Gear Wrench 3/8" impact socket set. This will stay in the garage to be used with my DeWalt 3/8" impact.

I like the painted/etched sizes. One cold winter day when I'm bored I need to paint mine like them so I can actually see them.

I grabbed a Kobalt 4.3 gallon compressor for homeowner type crap yesterday. My last pancake compressor blew up after a decade. This one says "80 % quieter and lasts 2x longer" lol Hopefully this is the last one I ever need to buy.

I'm hoping the etchings will hold up after a lot of use.

We use a GMC portable compressor here at work. Those things are crazy quiet and durable (we use them in offices all day long).

Here's the POS I bought

I bought it primarily for finishing nails/brads. This week after work and last weekend was "birdhouse building week". Making a few cedar birdhouses for mothers day. What a PITA compiling plans has been. Had to consider way to much crap. I figured I'd buy some wood and slap together a few boxes. Not even close. Mounting heights and locations - critical, hole dimensions - critical, wood thickness and venting - critical, wood species - critical, blah blah blah. Being anal and doing things right can be a drag sometimes.

That looks much nicer (I only have 1 outlet) with more flow vs mine. Thats what I get from buying something with little/no research. Would of been nice to have 2 guns with power at the same time, but it does cost a good deal more.

Picked up an Estwing ball peen hammer. It was pricey but my grandson will still be using it.

I'm a fan of Estwing hammers as well. Pretty much all I own.

Awesome idea, I have no idea why I did not think about it sooner but I definitely need one of those

At Home Depot, $20

Been using the alligator ones for years, broke a few, and they are plastic, this one has an aluminum tube

I have something similar for retrieving slot cars and land in the middle of the race track. Works great.

And I see you are still using that same HD nylon webbing to tie things down with. :)
