Ok, garage gurus....I need a new hydraulic floor jack.
I had a Michelin (branded) jack that was rated at 3.5 tons with a lifting range of 5.5" to 22". I sold it on Craigslist for $25 since it leaked oil and I couldn't find a gasket replacement/rebuild kit for it. It worked fine, but I figured it was time for a new one since I owned that one for about 15 years.
I bought that one when I was into lowered cars. I was pleased when it would still get the Tacoma off the ground...even after the lift. There were times that I had it extended to the max, so I don't want a lifting height of under 22". I would like a daily driver eventually, so I like the idea of low profile. Don't want to spend a fortune either.
I think I've narrowed it down to this Pro-Lift Premium
https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Lift-G-7...keywords_two_browse-bin:7019256011|7019257011 based on specs and cost. Seems to be very similar to the one I just sold.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
