Had this guy delivered yesterday. 80 Gallon 2-Stage compressor. This is to replace my little 30 gallon craftsman compressor made in 1999 that I pretty much burned up. RIP little guy. lol
Spent the day running wire and today I'll run the new piping to my outside panel box so I can feed the wire down.

Ran two 20A 110V circuits, one 30A circuit and one 60A circuit over the past few days. The 30A is for the compressor and the 60A is for the plasma/welder. I added the two 20A circuits for more power.

Wired up an extension cable for my welder/plasma with some old cable I had lying around.

Also wired in my 60A outlet as well.

Nice!

I was looking at upgrading my battery operated De-Walt stuff (hammer drill/sawzall/circle saw) with something that has L-ION batteries. Boss just came back from a Home Depot Black Friday run and gave me a new L-ION drill/impact combo from Makita. Looks like Ill be saving some $$$ lol I rarley use the circle saw or sawzall anyway. Sawzall was primarily a trail tool....so not used much anymore

Went with th garage journal votes and picked up the 44" tool chest from HF it was on sale for 350 I think normally it's 425. Unpacked it, looks pretty good for the price, I can't afford those Gucci mac or snap on boxes so this should do just fine for my needs :)

I have two of those with the side boxes.. LOVE the quality. It really can't be beat. My dad (a farmer) has the larger 56" box and top box and they are loaded to the gills with heavy shit. He's had it now for about 7 years I'd guess, other than being dusty it works great. I bought the HF red 5 drawer utility cart as a test bed and its awesome.

Tool boxes are one of those unexpectedly good things from harbor freight, oddly enough I also have a set of large drill bits from there that have lasted quite well

I’ve looked the NT boxes and seem pretty good as well

Judging by the photos of the Homak I would say the US General is a stronger box.. it has more drawer slides for the larger drawers anyhow. 2 vs. 1.
