Walmart did have the M18 HD 9.0 batteries for $125each, sold out now....![]()
The 6.0 and 12.0 have much better batteries in them with higher capacity and longer life. I researched the living crap out of Milwakee's tools before I bought last month. Pretty sure I got a great deal on the package because it was all the old 5.0 batteries and they are getting ready to push the HD 6.0. The 9.0 is the same older style batteries as the 5.0 I just got in my kit just more cells used. I think maybe AVE on youtube did the comp, but not sure because I watched so many darn videos and breakdowns.
Yeah the electric blowers are really nice. It doesn't have the same output as my old gas powered leaf blower but it's so much faster to start up and quieter. I have the DeWalt 20V blower and I wished it pushed a little more air but it still gets the job done.Search your tube history and see if you locate it, if not I’ll dig around for it, but in theory the 9 should be a better battery or it was renamed for more profit over quality.
I’m really considering getting the M18 leaf blower, before I can open my shop doors I have been using the compressor and 2ft air wand and it takes about 10 minutes to clear off the carport. The summer/fall in south Texas starts now, the trees start dropping, especially the hickory trees start dropping most of their leaves to conserve water, in the past 5 weeks we have had less than 1/8” rain over 3 different days, which essentially is nothing because it evaporates quickly in this heat( real feel temps near 100 or at 100* by 10am). Phuck all these nonsense, I really need to insulate the shop and put some AC in that biotch.
Cost wise, it seems better to buy the tool only and purchase additional batteries and use the charger I already have.
So are you planning on selling the Taco now too?
Good! You better not or at least call me first so I can buy a bunch of stuff off itNope

it wasn't a video....here it is .... MIlwaukee M18 Battery Comparison: 12 Ah, 5Ah, High Demand and More!
6.0 and 12.0 utilize 21700 batteries while the 9.0 uses 18650's
18650's are old school and 21700 the new school

Beautiful glass! Nice job.My new Milfawkee 1/2" hammer drill got so hot drilling through granite, natural river stone, and ceramic that I had to put it down so my hands didn't burn. I was amazed it kept going and I was the limit. Prob not the way to break her in properly, but it is what it is and she got her done quick. Ive only used one battery in weeks and I never even fully charged it so I''m pretty happy so far.
This weekends work after camping - so glad my measurements and scribe work was spot on. Clips and everything needs final adjustment before caulk, but I still have a clip that's on back order and holding up the whole job from being finished.

Oh and Oldcastle forgot my hole that goes to a clip in the wall so the return lite on the knee wall will be replaced eventually. This is the job from hell. Anything and everything that can go bad has....except for my measurements and layout![]()

Beautiful glass! Nice job.
But that tile selection job makes me want to puke. Normally the river rock goes on the bottom and not on the wall.![]()
Thanks on the glass - that was a pita. My buddys wife is so young she has yet to learn any sort of style & she was the designer. Good for my buddy I guess thoughThanks on the glass - that was a pita.
You didn't see where they put slippery ceramic on the floor - I just about died when I was drilling the hinge holes with water as the lube and the pan got wet. Sneakers on wet ceramic is like ice skates on ice.
