Picked up some new Knipex auto wire strippers (ones in the middle). I like that the "bite" is adjustable. The top one I had previously and it works great 90% of the time. Some of the harder wire housings cause it to just slip. Hopefully this auto design with adjustability will help.

I also have a couple pairs of metal Klein auto strippers but they are kinda heavy if you are using them a lot.

funny, I saw a few strippers with an adjustable bite this past weekend lol

those knipex ones looks nice, I’ve got a pair of southwire ones I’ve used for years but you’ve got the cogs turning now and it might be time for an upgrade :D

You can see the adjustable bite on the left side of the jaw on the second set. I haven't tried them out on wire yet, but they feel nice.. lightweight. Reason I put the Kleins up was the weight, great tool.. and surely stronger than the two composite Knipex I have (they sell a metal version but at $125 I passed).

I have been debating getting one of those right angle drills. Seems like I might need to get one.

I got one, it works pretty good. It dont got the umph of a standard drill, but it will sure get you out of a bind. I love my battery powered ratchet too.

Only one? So you swap out 3/8s and 1/2 instead of having a dedicated 3/8 and 1/2?

Thinking it would be good for a lot of stuff I do that I do not want the umph of the bigger drills that may break something.

Any of you guys have Milwaukee battery operated M18 lights? Both of my halogen lights have blown bulbs and I'm thinking of upgrading. Silly daylight savings time is killing my production and I need light at home. They are priced like they are made from gold so I'm on the fence, but I like the option to run it from the batteries I already have should I not have a power source. Would be nice not to have to run 100' of cord to my backyard as well.

I have an old M18 flashlight, I upgraded the bulb to an LED. Its durable and lasts a long time, but there are brighter out there. The new ones are very nice but they are fucking $$$$.

yea I was looking at the new rocket light. Comes with a free 5.0 battery, has the rocket charger in it + cord to plug in, but for $299 it is allot of coin compared to a bog box store one at $50-70 that can;t run from batteries. Think my minds made up - I just need to buy more halogen bulbs
