Picked up a huge Klein adjustable wrench. I'll tell you what though, the movement on that thing is awesome.. zero slop, seems extremely well built.

Ordered some very small pliers, great reviews, made in Japan. They sent me 5 of them. Ill contact them later to tell them they sent me two. Joking. But I don't need 5. But they feel really solid.

Anybody ever get a tool warrantied from gearwrench? My 17mm coating is coming off and the ratchet is really hard to turn. Tried to soak in brake clean and wd40 watched a few videos but it’s still not 100%. To take the ratchet a part there’s a small snap ring that I really don’t wanna dick with. Watched a guy take one apart on YouTube and looked terrible.

We have a Gearwrench truck (use to be Matco guy) stop by every Tuesday, but I've never gotten on it. I can ask my guys if any of them have delt with him on warranty issues.

I have never had one do that, but they should warranty it. But just doing a quick Google search it seems damn near impossible to find a contact number. Looks like you have to take it to an authorized dealer.

I can’t find anything in my email, eBay, or amazon history, so I think I bought at a Sears in person a long time ago. It’s weird I have 4 sets of these wrenches and this is the only one that’s done it.

The might not require a receipt since they have a lifetime warranty.

I just got a new Razorback Hoe as a replacement to an Ames Hoe that cracked at the handle. A few years back, got a replacement post hole digger from Ames. Both damaged tools had a 15 year warranty and I was not asked to provide a receipt either time.
