I wonder how far/deep this goes. I know for certain I am not the only one. Ive spoken to others online in similar situations. Some waited a few days longer and some are at the 9 month mark with no future.

This one guys reply to my story made me lol

He's on month 9 of the wait.... been told the same exact BS as me.

I'm out-front helping my neighbors son replace a broken trailing arm on his Expedition and DHL pulls up.

I see the label and almost fall over.

Santa has come on Christmas Eve.

So I run in the house and open up the box.

and what do I find.......

a bunch of very poorly packed accessories and no stove to use them with

2 days short of a year and this is how these trash animals ship stuff internationally

So I track it and walla... the stove shipped UPS and will be here sometime next week

These people are hilarious.

If I wasn't two rum n cokes in already I'd prob not find this amusing lol

I'm drunk now so thinking of just selling it all on e-bay when I get it for 10x the cost. I mean if people are waiting over a year some rich moron will pay much more for some Instagram instant gratification. That or produce a YouTube video of me sighting in my JP on the stove while packed with 5# of tannerite. Could do a initial unboxing/first use double video. JP VS G Stove

I should be outside helping the neighbors kid but thats a thick bolt and it's cold so I gottta thing I got a good 10 minutes lol

Just re-engineer the design and sell your own. Made in 'Merica!

I can’t believe the amount of patience you had with that order, no way in hell would I have dealt with all that bullshit hopefully the rest of the parts arrive to have a complete stove.

Someone mentioned that prior and it's not a bad idea. If I was a welder by trade & had knowledge of stoves or metallurgy I might even consider it. There is a niche market, but it seems to be huge.

That's due to 2 decades of construction wearing me down lol.

In all seriousness it's probe the truth. 9/11 museum & tower 1 in NYC took 3 years. Tower 7 was about 2 years. American Bible Museum in DC was 2 years +. A year + a gubment shut down during the Liberty Bell museum renovation. Entire hospital in FL took 4 years - actually that job just finished and I sold that job over 3 years ago when I was working for the glass mfg.

Every significant project I was ever involved in spanned a couple years.

Downside of that is I can let things sit for a long time w/no worries (truck/house/etc.)

Yep people don't realize how long construction projects actually take and how much work is going on behind the scenes before the first shovel of dirt is overturned.

Got an unexpected delivery from DHL today. Another box full of accessories.

Here is a pic of items I did not order yet received.

Not sure if this is supposed to be "shut up" products or even more proof of total mismanagement...?...

I do find it humerus one of the guys Ive been talking to who did get his stove has been waiting for a pipe flue for months due to back order and here they are shipping me an extra one lol He can't even use his stove in his tent because it cooks him out w/o the flue to slow it down.

So far the mistake and or hush money is up to about $110. That said I'm still missing over $800 in products I actually did order.

:roflmao:

Used my Milwaukee right handed saw for the first time for more than a simple cut and it got a good deal of use. Very pleased with it. Never checked battery power but we ripped and notched more than a couple sheets of plywood and it runs nicer than my newly acquired corded Makita. I put a 12.0 battery in it and while heavy it's still much easier for me to throw around than my corded saw.

Also got a chance to use the multitool a few times either flush cutting nails off or notching plywood. Not impressed by it like the saw, but it works like it should.

Milwaukee's Fuel M18 jigsaw is pleasant to use. The orbital function is about 10X better than what I could do with my 10yo corded DeWalt. Technology is pretty cool. Had no issues making 2-1/2" dia holes in the plywood yesterday (no more round pegs in sq holes). I was pleased to see it also came with a soft plastic non-marring cover for the bottom of it. Thats a great feature. Save me from having to use painters tape every time I want to use it on something that I want to protect from scratching.

Little battery life update on the 12.0 in the right hand 7-1/4 saw.... I'm down one bar so I think thats 20% and so far every cut stud or ripped sheet of plywood has been with this saw. Pretty darn impressed with that. My old DeWalt would of needed to be charged multiple times for this amount of work (also almost 20 years older tech). Pretty sure it will deem the corded saw I just got from my mom an dust collecting dinosaur from here out. Oh and I'm using a crappy old used carbide tipped 24 tooth framing blade for every cut (took off the new one). When doing selective demo of the existing plywood I need to rip through it and not running a new blade over a nail and ruining it.

Oh and Mr Brown delivered my stove yesterday. I am not impressed.

Someone needs to make a freaking welding jig up for these morons.... my right shelf is about oh IDK 10-15* off of square when folded down...
upload_2020-12-31_7-41-38.png

at first I thought it was so when they folded up it would pack/lay flush, but it does not lay flush like it should irregardless of what shelf is folded in first. Just crappy quality control.

few boogers here and there in the welds but 99% "looks" good to my untrained eye.

Oh I get it. Yea thats it.

Other mfg's have stainless steel stoves, but nothing like theirs in regards to the "lifetime warranty" (prob take 2 years for replacement parts lol) or the innovation behind their accessories.

You'll see similar items offered now by other mfg's but when I started my research years ago they were the innovator others copied.

They were also the only "one stop shop" where I 'thought' I could procure everything I wanted to make a "swiss army knifes" of stoves

The stove itself is just a stove, but it is thicker and heavier duty then the others Ive looked at.

Ordered two ways to heat water up (3 liter removable stove top tank + 5 liter pipe tank).
upload_2020-12-31_9-22-51.png

the oven is pretty cool as well
upload_2020-12-31_9-28-22.png

and the main thing ill prob use is the pipe cooking surface
upload_2020-12-31_9-30-57.png

and Ive yet to get any lead times on that stuff so yea the stove is basically useless for now.

If I'm "homeless" living in a shed or wall tent while developing land I wanted a jack of all trades kinda stove. Also be a good SHTF item to have at a bug out location or bring to one.

Got this as a Christmas present from my MIL. You can use this thing as a hammer it's so well built. This feels like a generational tool it's so well built.
