lol

Milwaukee will prob have a $5k battery operated version out next year that does 10,000psi and you can dig to China
Correction: They will have to be affordable as well for me to buy it over a gas powered power washer lol

Talking myself around the extended neck ratchet. Anyone have one? Home Depot has them for $230 online.

But do you like it? This is the same idea without the 15 year loan.
Yeah, and it was only about $50 more then that one and it came with two batteries and a charger. That one you posted is "tool only". I do need to send it in to get a rebuild. After 4 years or so it starting to act up. It gets borrowed a lot.

I have the Milwaukee non extended reach version. It's nice for the few times I have used it. I guess I'm scared to break it or something. I just use it for the light work and then break out a "real" ratchet for the heavy tightening of anything.

Well that's what you have to do. They are not made for getting stuff super tight etc. Mostly just to speed things up. You still have to come back and tighten by hand

I have the non extended and it is a great "fast forward" when dealing with long and lots of bolts. I have only had a few situations where the long reach ratchet would have made all the difference.

No idea on the extended version, but Ive never been to a seasoned mechanics shop and not seen them holding a battery operated ratchet. My buddy with the motorcycle shop has them all over. He's a night owl (keeps his shop open late for 9-5 people) so when he opens up shop in a few hrs Ill stop by and ask him. Been meaning to drop some plexiglass off for him for a while now anyway.

Good friend of mine has a couple of the standard length Milwaukee ratchets in his tool box at work. He swears by them for getting work done faster and not being as tired at the end of the week. He used the air ratchets for years but likes these for being easier to use. After he hyped them up I bought my standard Milwaukee ratchet and it has been really nice. The benefits of them are easy to sell. Just debating if I want an extended reach or another regular ratchet. I am in a situation where I was told to pick another tool as a late Christmas present since my earlier choices did not happen.

Well in that case, just go ahead and get it! It's not like it'll be a detriment or anything.

Yeah, just want to make sure I get something that adds real value rather than just takes up space. I have enough stuff taking up space that I am working on clearing out now.

Not sure f you get 10% off that from HD or not, but for $240 I found the kit w/bag/charger/2.0 battery. Not sure if you need any of that, and I know your stance, but I think you could end up finding the kit for a similar price as bare tool with some web sluthing.

Opinion of a small business owner/mechanic who works on Side x sides/quads/motorcycles/dirt bikes/jetski's all day every day. Not cars...or heavy equipment

Resume...been at it for over 2 decades now. Started as a tech for these guys working on exotics F.C. Kerbeck Auto group in Palmyra NJ - New and Used Group dealership Cinnaminson Bridesburg Tacony Frankford NJ

Then bought raw land, developed it and built his own Motorcycle shop and following w/his own hands about 12 years ago.

and if it helps in 2021 - the most Christian/right wing/family guy I know lol

I can see where the extended neck would not make much of a difference on motorcycles. I am still going back and forth on the options - might just get the Milwaukee chainsaw.
