I can see where the extended neck would not make much of a difference on motorcycles. I am still going back and forth on the options - might just get the Milwaukee chainsaw.
I take that back, mine isn't the extended neck. Two of my guts have them though

I know two others who run this saw.
So at $380 total for everything :D, I got plenty of trees and brush to throw at it.

I have a TroyBilt with the Honda motor. I really like it. Had it over 7 years now, probably need to dig it out of the shed and make sure it still works. lol

My sammich maker spent weeks trying to get either a specific M12 tool kit or the socket set. Finally the socket set arrived. This will be a very nice addition to the 4Runner tool kit along with the M12 Fuel 1/4 impact.

I like the tool set, really like the case/ packout setup, but really disliked the price. This makes the travel tool set a nice setup.

These are 30% off right now and I think I have a decent chance of talking my wife into them. That said, we looked at the in-store unit yesterday and it felt kind of cheap. She even commented "it looks like it would dent really easily."

Anybody have a recommendation on something else I should be considering? I don't see anything at Harbor Freight that looks comparable, but maybe I'm not looking on the right page. I've looked at all the US General stuff....

Those are good looking cabinets with some nice features. It sucks they feel kind of cheap. I am not aware of anything that is directly comparable with the features and price point.

I have a US General tool box that was a gift from my f-in-law. While it is a tool box that works it does not compare to my Kobalt tool box. The US General line is okay but not a real long term solution in my opinion. My Kobalt tool box is now pushing 14 years old and is still in great shape and works like it was new. But the quality the first time on something you expect to last for the long haul.

I agree on the Kobalt boxes, they aint Snap-on but for the $ they are way better then that husky bs or the US General stuff.

I have 2 of those big cabinets, pita to put together but fine otherwise, yeah not much choices when it comes to those type, or spend a few hundred more on each and get the ones on rollers, dont remember brand,, they are thicker metal too.

The Kobalt uses 23 ga steel as opposed to 24 ga on the Husky. Same number of shelves, but somehow the Husky says that shelves are rated to 150lbs compared to 100lbs of the Kobalt or Craftsman. At this point, I think I'm going to make a push for the Husky since it will match my toolbox.

Bought the Troy Bilt. If it's built half as good as our tiller, it'll last a good long while.

Through research/years of use Ive found a couple tips to help prolong the life of them

*To avoid hand lock after hrs of use - use some velcro straps to keep the handle pressed down. Not safe if you go muzzle sweeping everyone with it or fall down, but it will save your hands over the years.

*Always prime the pump 100%. I use the velcro strap to keep the trigger pushed for about 5 minute prior to start up.

*Never let them idle. Never. After warm up either use them or turn them off. When you have them on full throttle and you aren't using the pump it is building heat and pressure that decreases the life of the pump severely (why on my new pump I got the overflow line to be about 100X longer than on the old pump - will hold more pressure & heat). This should really be tip #1 and the most important

*During break in if your pump has pressure adjustment - start it off slow and low. I ran mine for about a 1/2 day before I cranked it up and I'm still not running it at 100%.
