Time to go electric.
I know, I know... you're completely right but I'm just too damn attached to this weed eater. :( I've made a lot of money with it in the past and cut a shit ton of acreage with it so I'm just used to it and how it cuts. It's definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made (in terms of a tool purchase).

Time to go electric.

even if an electric power tool for the lawn is more efficient and cost effective, I can't bring myself to fire up a "silent" tool like that. Something about the 2 smokin ozone burnin goodness. Is electric tools able to be used in the rain or what is the OEM's response to those conditions? Just curious, wondering that when we'll hear about the first death of a person due to electric shock from using it during inclement weather lol

The guys who take care of my yard would do shit in the rain. It takes a lot of rain to make them stop. Crazy fuckers.

After this last weekend of changing tires in a hurry I am not putting a 3/8s battery impact at the top of my "next sale" list. I do not need a 1000 ft/lb monster to change tires; a simple 250 ft/lb impact will do it.

I was looking at this one. Not too big... more balls than probably needed still.

Thought about that one but would rather not have to carry 1/2" sockets too. Already have a full set of 3/8s and 1/4. Probably going to go with just the 3/8s and put wrenches where the 1/4" is.

They sell the same in 3/8th drive.

me either but alot of businesses do, curious to see if landscaping businesses make a swap to electric or not
My boses husband owns a landscaping company, apparently that's all he uses for handheld stuff. She says he uses the Greenworks stuff.

Were you snapping studs and wrists? lol

Thankfully nothing snapped but it was a bit of weight that was not needed. The first two tires was not bad; but by the 5th tire swap it was annoying.

Swapped out the almost 20 year old trimmer head on my Echo weed eater. And...ended up having to order a new fuel tank, lines and gasket for it. Looks like it cracked in the cold weather. Take one step forward and two steps back lol
I need to do some work to my backpack blower. Fixed up my weed whacker last year w/new lines & primer bulb. Gas was leaking from somewhere on my blower in fall but I got done what I needed to, winterized it & parked it. Hopefully Ill never need it here again.

Now that would be something I'd sell and get the battery version of lol I have a gas powered blower and a 20V DeWalt blower. I haven't turned on the gas powered one since.

Mother Nature is my blower. Living on a farm field has its advantages. Leaves/grass/trash end up blowing away on my property. Hell I’ve even lost a few lawn chairs over the years when the wind kicked up high enough lmao

I have an Echo gas and a Kobalt cordless blower. I use the Kobalt 99% of the time... usually its just to blow off the back patio or blow out the garage. But I still like the Echo. Vrroom vrrooom...

IDK man... my Husky backpack blower is the best time saving tool Ive ever purchased to get leaves & pine needles out of my beds. A little gas leak's no reason to shoot her just yet. She's gotta be over a decade old so Ive grown attached. Hopefully just something silly - it runs fine.
