I read that as well... not everyone had the issue but some did. I'm hoping they don't slide. I'll find out soon.

Rated for 16K, damn I probably need a set for the skidsteer to drive up on railroad timbers, so I can pull the skid plates and service. I'm about 13 hours out for that service. The set I have is probably 20+ years old, rhino ramps, rated for 12K. I'm gonna try them out and see if they will hold up. Mine slide some, but I have found to push the ramps all the way to the tires, and do a quick small acceleration.

That is the rated GVW. Packaging states not to exceed 4000 lbs per ramp... so a bit of marketing bullshit. Still enough to park the F250 on them if need be.

WTH. Well we see if mine crush, skidsteer is 10,500lbs without an attachment.

I can always resort to plan B. Cut a timber diangler with a chainsaw, but dang that's a long cut to make.

Brought home fuel cans from the farm for the generator. I already added fuel stabilization and put 2 oz of seafoam in one can. Gonna top them off with supreme gas, the non ethanol fuel is not to common around S. TX. Gas prices should be rising soon, I've been reading that their cutting production to increase the price per barrel.

They slide on the garage floor. I'm guessing the epoxy coating isn't helping. I do have an old large (3'x3') rubber mat I will clean up and cut in half.

Well my local Homeless Depot is getting worse. I stopped in at lunch for a welding gas tank swap. The employees had no idea what or how to do it and even challenged me that the process I did last time was improper. After I explained to them they wasted my hour lunch break and I was done needing anything from them they acted pissy like I wasted their time.

Thankfully Tractor Supply had the tank and knowledge of what needed to be done. So hopefully tonight I can wrap up the hunting stand rails to use it tomorrow at the lease.

Ordered a new air filter and housing, oil, and fuel shutoff valve for the generator. Noticed the handle portion of my shutoff valve was broken the other day. Brings my total investment up to about $90 for a 5500w generator. Not too shabby. One of the studs for the 12v connection is broken as well so I’ll find a replacement for that eventually but I’ve never used a generator for 12v so not in a hurry to replace it. I’ll probably replace the 120v receptacles as well since they’re showing some signs of age and cracking.

I bought something from HF that may or may not kill me. Odds are in my favor that I live.

It may not kill you; but where does it fail that exposes you for something else to kill you? But as I was reminded the other day by my sammich maker; shop equipment is safe if I only wrench a few times a year now.

Yeah, I need to do a few things in the garage but I really just don't feel like doing it right now. I will keep to my activities that in the climate controlled garage area.
