So I built a knock-off pressurized filler this morning. The local Lowes had a few 1 gallon jugs at $9 each. I am already looking to pickup the necessary parts to add a small pressure gauge and an air fitting so as to pressurize it from a compressor. The hand pumping part kind of sucks or I am just getting lazy.

I am looking to make one small change to the original design. The clear hose that goes into fill hole - I am going to bend a wire and zip tie it to the hose so as to be able to hook it into the port. Then I do not have to have a hand up there holding it in while I work the valve. I have the plastic tube that came with the sprayer I might try to work into a usable shape as long as it does not restrict the flow too much.

Once I have a pressure gauge on the tank I will measure the flow rate so I can simply fill, pressurize to the calibrated PSI, and then time the flow rate to fill the right amount of fluid.

Maybe I am just getting lazy. lol

If I was to add a air fitting to allow a compressor to fill it I would also add a blow off valve set at about 25 psi or something. After seeing how fast my compresor can destroy a bike tire I'm sure that plastic bottle would be no match and it only takes a second for it to fill... I imagine the mess would be of epic proportions. LOL

I was thinking about that as well. I will post the parts list once I have it complete. Then Trail Toys can offer it as the upgraded model.

Sounds good, I still have the other parts on my Amadong wish list

Will be giving it a test run tomorrow when I do a fluid change on the next axle for the 4Runner. Guess I will see how good/bad the flow is then.
