Your coil is either good or bad, not weak. Plugs, QUALITY wires and a 6 pack is the best place to start.

I would agree with you on the coil; but I have seen coils fail when hot or under load on my Harley. The plugs/wires/six pack will probably be done with week.

I didnt know I was diagnosing a Harley. Lol. Put your original coil and ignitor back on, ditch that monstrousity Accell supercoil from the 80's. Your nippendenso coil is a quality piece and unless you submerged it I doubt it is defective.

Yeah, the original coil is back in place and "running".

You can check plug wires at night... Pop the hood when it's dark and if the wires are bad you will see a light show as it runs.

I don't know why I didn't remember that. I just went out and checked. Still idles like shit but there was no light show. I gave it some throttle but there was no show. Maybe I'll get lucky and I have a couple of wires in the wrong order. We'll see this afternoon.

Frack me..
Park it in Robbies way for a week, he will have to fix it for you so he can move it out of the way.. Just put it right in front of his garage.. :D

It is a small wonder what the right firing order will do. I rechecked my plug order and it cranked right up and purred like a semi-retarded kitten.

meh, it happens.. at least you figured it out!

The part that is killing me now is why it wouldn't start after it rained. I have went out and started it every morning before I go to work and when I get home at night. It starts up immediately and just idles nice and smooth. WTF is this thing trying to do to me?

A lesser engine would have destroyed itself being started with the wrong firing order

When I got my old 80 Hilux it was running in in the wrong firing order..lol dumbass swapped in a 22r for the 20r and couldnt find out what was wrong. I got it for cheep, drove it down the road, popped the hood, swapped the wires and hauled ass.
