I can't wait to get it on the trails with the axle and gears. I'm hoping a winch/bumper combo follows soon.

Looks like the solid axle install should be getting wrapped up this Saturday. Then I'm starting on the 4.7 install in my garage. I'm still debating if I want to try to install new rear leafs (63s or 54s) before Jambo. It will probably depend on how fast I get the 4.7s installed.

You've got plenty of time, and your gonna need some different rest leafs, I doubt you'll be able to get the stockers lifted high enough to match the front without some stupid long shackles. The case install should take only a day or two and Bob should have you rolling next weekend.
I'll probably do the gears and rear leafs in my garage. Easier to work on it during the week.

Look into the ford 57" rears as well. They perform well and aren't too much of a rock anchor.

Robert sold me some 63's he had laying around. For the right price, they can be yours.
I'll try to get a few progress pics of the axle tonight.
Brian - I'm 99% sure I am going to go with Fords so I can run the same stuff front and rear. It will make stocking spare parts much simpler.

Pic of the finished gusset and a pic of the template for the steering stop reinforcement. Tomorrow should have the diff armor on and templates cut and welded.

It was cheaper than buying the kit.
Feel free to come on over; you can get in the way with a grinder in your hand or helping put together the front axle. There will be plenty to get in the way of.
