That's Mr Asshole to you
After doing it before I feel like it would go quicker and easier.

I'll definitely put something up when I plan on doing it.

Just need to finalize how I want to control it. I'm planning on using a Ruggeduino but I'm a little tempted to save up for a while longer and go with a SwitchPro. It's not as programmable as a "real" motorsports PDM, but it's similar in concept. Not sure if it could do the sort of positional confirmation I'm looking for.

Have you seen the Trail Toys switch? One of the members on here owns the company. @SMKYTXN

Interesting gadget, but I'm not sure that's what I'm after. I'd rather have a permanent button for the locker than a remote. I'd also still need a feedback circuit to confirm when the locker is actually engaged, not just a light on when voltage is applied. I don't think the SwitchPros box can do that, either.

Did a little bit of PM today. Brakes had been pulsing and squeaking, and the left half shaft needed to be rebuilt due to torn boots.

Enlisted my dad's help to knock it out. Had a little bit of an error on my part, he had the rear caliper taken apart and I asked him to hold the brakes so I could get the front axle nut loose. Neither one of us thought about it, but we pushed the piston out of the left rear caliper. Couldn't just shove it back it, so I wound up buying a new caliper. Couldn't find a rebuild kit anywhere in town.

Nice feeling to check some basic things off the list. Hopefully I'll be able to start working on the E-Locker install in the next month or two.

I need to get in on watching someone rebuild a CV axle. I have three that are torn down and/or torn boot and want to build them up as spares.

I rebuilt my RCV's about a year ago... but to be honest my buddy who was a mechanic for a long time did 75% of the work.

It's one of those things where once you've done it once it's really straightforward. I'd be happy to help you with them at some point.

I think I'm going to have to sit this one out. Wife is still dealing with PPD and I'm doing most of the nighttime care.

Big bend later in the fall?

I can't make a BB trip this year. Got vacation at Christmas to Chicago and a week long cruise next summer. Need to save from vacation time. If I can get the bucket full (or close) I will do a spring break trip somewhere.

I have a trip to BBRSP scheduled for the last week of the year. You are more than welcome to come along.

I might take you up on that. I don't know how my holiday season looks yet.

Planning on putting in the ELocker this coming Saturday (7th). If anyone is in town and not on the AR trip, you're welcome to stop by and help/drink beer.
