The LED lights and recharging battery pack worked great this weekend. The lights were adjustable in intensity so they were really nice to adjust to the ambient light level. Overall they were a success.

Pretty cool!

I've gotten to the point that I don't like having lights on while camping. All it does is draw in bugs to you. I just prefer to sit around the campfire and use a headlamp at night.

That's where I'm at. Ill throw a string of LED Christmas lights up vertically but they are pretty dim. Basically so I can find my way back to shore when night yakking.

I switched to all rechargeable batteries a while ago so Ill abstain from buying specific camping items that are rechargeable. They all seem overpriced to me considering you can buy normal items made to run on double AA's and just use rechargeable batteries for typically much less money. I like the idea of all my stuff running on the same power source and not each one having its own internal batteries.
