I took 25 gallons of fuel and used almost 5 gallons a day. It really depends on how much you intend to drive around.

Is there a date for this trip?

Damn, I've got a race that weekend. Oh well, I probably wouldn't be equipped by then anyways. One of these days, I really want to go out there.

Depends on which part of BBRSP you go to. The regular 4WD roads are pretty easy as far as "off roading" is concerned. My next trip back I want to go explore the non-maintained roads. The reports are that the unmaintained roads can provide some challenges but that is not the real intent of them.

Yeah, I did a bit of research to find the "hardest trail". All has to do with comfort and experience too. One mans easy is another's terrifying lol.

The northern area is supposed to be "difficult". We talked to Park Ranger last time and he said the hardest parts where in the northern most sections. Unfortunately we didn't plan fuel well enough so we didn't get to see it. Next time I won't make that mistake. The area in the furthest north area.

Come on; Drew's Mom isn't that horrible.
I ask that you treat that lovely woman with dignity and respect... lol.

Nice! Awesome map. Any chance of knowing what the distances are to the top? Never mind, I see the measurement tool lol

The NW part is where I am planning to go next time. It is camp-where-you-park up there so the RTT will be perfect.

Don't let those distances fool you. From the highway to Gualle 2 was 2 hours driving. Also, at the ranger station they have real maps of that same image. MUCH better. But yeah, bring several jerry cans to go explore.

Also for reference, from the highway to the ranger station was about an hour. And yes there are park rangers out there with radar guns enforcing the speed limit, but we only saw a couple. The road in is shit, total washboard.

An hour? Shit - you were pushing it then. We made it from pavement to Station in about 1.5 hours but roads were in really bad shape in some areas where we had to slow down really bad. Damn I want to be back out there this weekend.

I had Roger with me and he is used to going fast so I was trying to be a good host :) ... I'm sure the old Fox shocks hated me. But yeah, its a lot longer than you would think.

Nice! Any other areas that are park and camp that are easily describable?

Lol, I have slowed in my age but I will check it out. I may be about to settle a big deal with an oil company, if that is the case then I may get some upgrades before my trip.
