Your 4Runner is also a lot heavier than Rob and mines. You might want to go DOM, its not much more $$. I went HREW because Clyde is pretty lightweight, doubtful that I'll crush the HREW.

Ok, sold DOM or bust.. but based on that other thread, it is the metal used more than the HREW/DOM method. I spoke with Jim over at Shrockworks.. he might make me a deal seeing as how I just bought a set and want to buy a bumper now too. DAMNIT... where is all the "B" stock?

Quality of the metal makes a big difference. HREW can be stronger than DOM if the DOM is made of crap and the HREW is made from the good stuff it's just one of those things you have to take into consideration. If you could bet 4340 HREW it would be more than strong enough but prolly just cost way too much vs the DOM.
