Look at some BFG AT, i've ran them before and thay last a while and are pretty good off-road too, I think Rob has like 50k on his or something

BFG, Toyo's are all good A/T's. Also the goodyear wranglers are a good mix of an A/T and M/T and are reasonably priced.

Whats the ride quality with regular tires vs all-terrian? Is it a big difference on the road?

I have the BFG AT's and they're awesome for what they are. I'd probably like them more if I didn't want KM2s. They've been great tires on both my trucks and have performed well offroad. I don't notice any road noise from them but my friends always tell me they can hear them when they ride with me. If you're looking for something a little less aggressive and more for street use then look at the Michelin LTZ's. They're a little more but my mom has them on her Sierra and they're the smoothest, quietest AT I've seen. They're also supposed to last forever. I think my dad said he paid $250 each for 285/75/17.

What is the largest size tire I could add without getting a lift kit? I have 245/75/65 at the moment.

LOL, more like 30K on the tires.....My whole damn truck only has 54K.
