PM's from Sarah at All-pro, I think I must have made her angry.

Where did you get the idea our products are made in China? NONE of our products are made in China, so please stop spreading lies. If you have a problem then please let me know.

Fair enough....said statment was not based on facts, just an assumption based on what I have seen on the trails. I wasn't meaning to suggest that the products where made in China, but that they where made of imported steel. Not all steel is created equal, Marlin crawler did a test on USA HREW vs. imported DOM & proved that integrity of the steel was more important than the process used. Several people I know have All-pro and varouis other products on their rigs & for example, All-Pro DOM sliders flex more than anything else I have ever seen, which lead me to belive that they where made of imported materials.

If you would be so kind as to link me to the post your are refering too, I will gladlly edit my post.

We source our steel from several local steel suppliers, all of whom provide us with data on the steel to make sure it is to our specs. Marlin's test was more aimed toward the crap that Trail Gear sells, which is indeed Chinese. Marlin actually sources a lot of products from us, and vice versa!

Currently, the only rock guards we sell that are DOM are for the FJ Cruisers, so maybe it is our American steel HREW rock guards you're referring to??? We plan on offering DOM options soon on all our rock guards since we are making those in house.

I think it was the rear bumper thread where I saw your comment, but I already set the record straight!

Thanks,

-Sarah

Ok I've got a problem, I can't get the third member out of the rear axle. I've got everything unbolted and shafts slid out as much as the brakelines will allow and all I get is about half an inch of movement won't budge after that. Ideas? I really don't want to pull the axle shafts completely.

I'm about to add an articles section where we can post things like max-lift/ tire size and other canonized facts.

Well I already started a thread over there, guess you can move it or something when the other is ready or I can just repost it and delete the old one.

I just bought some new black Firestone Firehawk Floor Mats. That should keep the mud from messing anything up.

And there good for about 5 extra HP

Have someone pull on each side while you pull out the 3rd. There isn't a lot of room to pull it out but its do-able.

What are you doing on Friday? I don't know if he has hit you up yet but Fluff Monkey has a lift he needs to get installed & the more hands the better. We can do your sway bar at the same time.

Jason, you should bring your ass down for this also.

Keith, are you busy friday after work? Can we use your spring compressor?

I have reached a cross roads with my rear axle. I can rebuild my existing unit but it will be built much stronger than it's current state (Full comp series detroit, cryoed 300M gears, cryoed girdle, solid spacer, longfield 300M shafts, and possible a full floater conversion) or I can get and build a shaved GM 14 bolt full floater with 6 lug hubs and ballistic fabs shave kit and which will likely be stronger and offer about the same clearance half and inch or so difference in clearance. Both will be about the same cost and both will have to have the spring perches cut off and the axle angle set for higher lift. Decisions, decisions.
