Just ordered a 13" MacBook Pro only to find out the school requires me to have at least a 15" screen. Time to cancel my order and save up some more.

Please do explain as this makes little sense to me, school "requires" you to have a min 15" screen laptop

Yeah I don't understand it either. I'm required to have a laptop for my architecture classes and it has to meet certain requirements so that it will run the programs needed (AutoCAD, CS3, and various other expensive programs) and one of them is a 15" screen minimum. I don't really see why it matters but whatever. I guess I'll just wait until next semester to get it.

I'm actually supposed to not have a Mac at all. It says I'm supposed to have Windows XP SP2 but I told them I've only ever had Macs and that I don't think I could be as effective with a Windows PC so they told me I could use a Mac as long as it was the Pro model. I've actually never owned one in my life but they don't need to know that.

Doing CAD on a 13" screen would blow

Frack me..
That picture is so fucked up on so many levels.

Totally.

Sam I see you posted on Expo for the first time today. Hmmm....

Yeah, M771401 (Jason) has been telling me about some of the rigs.. so I checked it out yesterday and felt compelled to post. Bianca and I were talking about it last night, after seeing the pics from New Mexico.. I think I might be taking a "similar" direction. Ya-know, tent on the roof rack Aussie style... :D Are you on that forum too? I haven't seen you yet.

That vid B posted proves that Sam likes the skinny pedal. :)

I have been on Expo for about 3 years or so. I just don't post.

Is that Sarcasm? I thought it was too slow on most of the easy stuff. Just wait for some sick 4Runner vids. Next couple of months, 33's, lift and sliders. If I break it, I am going to upgrade it.. :D

I have to admit, Expo is pretty freaking sweet... well, there are some awesome rigs there. I like to look..... :D

No sarcasm.. I was just watching you go through obstacles and then hammer the gas when you finished... and then the drifting on the beach.

Yeah, I wish there was places to go overland style around here. I suppose I could drive to Big Bend.. but I'd love to have 4 million acres of BLM land to go camping on around here. Thats one thing those California/Nevada/Arizona guys have going for them.

I am moving the Taco into more of an Expo rig myself. I want to build a bed rack and then stick a RTT on it. Of course I'll add a small generator and a AC unit below it, pumping cold air up into the tent. :D

Hey man when it cools off, we could both do Bid Bend offroad, and then Big Bend Ranch (it's bigger!) and camp out while taking the trip. There is a mountain range (Texas mountains.. maybe 9500 ft) in Big Bend Ranch.. i would love to go back expedition style and drive right over the top. You interested in maybe planning something 2011 or this fall?
