Well mine kinda suck because they are sticking on the passenger side. But I can upgrade them pretty easy. Rob hooked me up with a set of V6 IFS calipers (bigger) and I got a set of FJ60 rotors (vented and thicker) and I picked up an FJ80 master cylinder from Marlin Crawler. So once its installed it should stop great. But I did find out that I can use a Chevy 3/4 - 1 ton master cylinder with a Sky Mfg adapter and it would be even better. Check out Sky Offroad for the adapter, if it works for your Runner then it will help stop it on a dime.

The one from SKY sucks ass, I actually threw that thing in the garbage after fighting with it trying to make it work. I've got a setup from rock stomper and it is much better.

well I have a couple guys I know with Yota truggies and both have used the Sky adapter, no issues, but that Rockstomper does look very swanky! I'm trying to keep Clyde all Yota if possible.

The condition known as aqua lung comes from having no inner fender to stop said water from going directly into the intake.

I'm a big fan of that look.. but it all depends on where you want to go with it. As that sits its very capable, but still too nice to try the really hard shit. And for the record, that IS the nicest bumper for that style Runner. I personally would do a wrap-around rear bumper as well. Then look into stuffing 35's under it. Although those might be 35's.. probably smaller though, like 33.5-34s.

Awesome! Well, after a few years of so-so maybe it will be ugly enough for the hard stuff. Tires are 285/75/16.. the Sonoran Steel lift will clear 35's but....... I am not going that way yet. Don't want to regear for a few years anyways.. take it SLOW.. Part of the fun is playing with the upgrades! Yeah, Shrockworks bumper looks F-ing sweet on that truck.

I am trying to find a swing out rear bumper to mount the spare on. I like that look, but have not found it yet for the 3rd gen. Jim at Shrockworks said he "might" make one, but that just sounded expensive and not gonna happen this year, so.. I am keeping my eyes open.

Open up your dash and pull the bulb. Do the TPMS too while you're in there.

Yea thats prolly a good idea the only thing still left that could throw the sensor is the rear ABS sensor which might be getting the ax too if I can find a reasonably priced 6lug GM 14 bolt hub a 14 bolt full floater.

Problem with the 14 bolts is that with a 35" tall tire you are still loosing ground clearance. You can shave an inch or so off it... making it a 13 bolt. But ground clearance wise, just make that Yota rear end bulletproof, or swap to a 9".

Who ever said I was staying with a 35 Hell the 36" IROKS i got measure almost 37" unmounted. Not to mention the 14 bolts are a dime a dozen around here I got the one in my chevy for 100 bucks. The kit from ballistic fab seems very interesting, it would bring the 14bolt ground clearance almost on par with that of a toy rear.
