Actually for a trail rig thats perfect. I'm running 4.88's with 33's and they will probably work with 35's as well. But I know when I go bigger I'll really want 5.29's.

oh hell, I was under the impression that 4.56's were good for 33's...then again I'm running 3.73's...lol
Your running 4.88's in the runner right?

Frack me..
God damn Sam, you running 37's

No, 33's and someday - 35's.. Steve Schaefer at Sonoran claims with the Automatic and 4.88's.. Transfer Gears are not really needed, it's low enough to keep up with anybody.

I have no concept of what it costs.. What did it cost you to change front and rear Sean?

Gear sets are reliatively cheap, having them installed & the back lash set is pretty expensive, just depends on the shop.

He's lying.. its not low enough. You can ALWAYS go lower.

In the Taco it was about $1400-1500. Don't recall exactly.

Yeah, in the Taco 4.56's are good all around (street and trail). But in a older 4Runner they don't have the power we do (not like we have it to spare or anything). But its always nice to be able to crawl and not have to use the skinny pedal. You don't break as much stuff. Clyde has 4.88's and that little 22re needs em.

Holy $hit Batman! wow, that much.. really.. wow.

I had ECGS build my rear for me, and I bought the fronts and had them installed. Its not cheap.. Taco gears are $$ to begin with.
