Welding Cart Ideas

As you can see.. I like my drawers. They are pretty much full. <insert poop joke here>

Also, best thing I did was adding that air reel to the back of the plasma cart. I've since shortened the length of hose that pops out of the back of it and also added a larger gas cylinder to the welder.

I'm going to steal your air reel idea. That's an awesome add-on!

It is a classic but it takes up too much floor space. I am looking for more vertical than horizontal.

I thinking you should borrow one of those heavy duty plant carts you see at the plant nurseries

I wasn't able to get a pic of my welding cart back when this thread was relevant because it was buried in the back of my shop that was so full of shit you couldn't get inside of it but I dug it out last week for a project. I made this as soon as I got the welder, simple but effective, I wish it had more storage but like that the little plasma fits underneath and I only have to 1 have cart for both.

Finally spent some time working on my cart today. I got the casters put on, supports on, and mocked up the main parts. This week I will figure out where I want to put the hood holders and associated metal tools.

I built the overall frame so as it comes in a little at the top so as the cables and other equipment will not stick out past the wheels. The idea is to keep it from becoming a snag point and making it easier to move around.

I'm looking forward to someone that starts sentences, "Let me tell you a lie..."

Just fucking with you bu t I have been in negotiations nearly all of my life and one thing that people like Chester Karrass will drill into you is to never say things like, "To tell you the truth..." since they tend to evoke thoughts like, "What was he lying about before?" Or, "I knew that guy was telling lies."

:)

Sorry, I saw the equivalent of a literary squirrel. lol

I used to fine my sales guys each time I heard such statements. :)

Thank you for not telling us a lie. :)

I see more and more people running ESAB machines these days .
Best mig welder I've used. The smart mig function is incredible. Welds better than any Miller or Lincoln wirefeed machine by far. Runs circles around that 210mp mig welding. Neither of the two stick weld as well as my ranger does though.

I'll look into them some more. I'm wanting to replace the Hobart 190 with a multiprocess machine later this year. Looks like ESAB has one coming out that will AC TIG.

I just need to learn to weld again... I only used stick back in high cool days, many moons ago
