Used it to go pick up 3 20'+ long sticks of steel to use for the tube/flat bed on the Raisin. One 2" x .120 wall box, one 1" x .120 wall box and one 1.25 x .120 angle. Will be picking up a stick of 1.75 x .120 DOM later this week.

Nice Rob!! Mine just rolled 78k.. hoping to keep it down low as it was built on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon. lol Actually once I get Randy's 8.4 under it and get my rear DS rebuilt (it will fail again.. it always does) with something a bit beefier I won't worry as much.

I haven't made a truck payment in almost 5 years. As far as I'm concerned the damn thing is paying me every month. I think I'll keep it for another 100k miles, maybe let my daughter drive it in when she turns 16......8 years from now.

Yep.. no payments is really hard to turn away from. Have about 3 months left on the wifes car and its paid for. I wanted to buy a new 20+ mpg full size truck but I'll settle for my paid for 23 mpg 81 Yota. Hey its got a 7' bed. :)

Don't get me wrong I think about buying another truck all the time, I just can't justify spending the money. Mine still looks good, runs good & does everything I need it too for now. My next truck will be a diesel, but even when that time comes I can't see m selling my tacoma.

Same here. Maybe in 2019 when we can buy a used 2016 Tundra with a Cummins in it (thinking it won't be a POS and Yota really does it)

I guess time will tell if Toyota can do a good diesel Tundra. I'm all about brand loyalty but if push come to shove I will buy a Ford.

Rob, I feel the exact same as you do. But I actually need the diesel with an 8' bed for work. Its just too expensive to justify for me right now. Plus, I love driving my Tacoma and having a 6' bed (its really a 4' bed with my toolbox) gets me out of picking up a lot of material.

I got 75K on mine, and finished paying for it last year. It's a cool feeling having it paid for, and it still drives newish. If they came out with a diesel Tundra, or a v8 Tacoma, I would probably run out and buy one.

Just hit 117K in mine. No truck payments is a good thing for now.

I wouldn't get rid of it, the deisles really aren't very good daily drivers, I don't care what anyone says its next to impossible to consistently get good mileage out one daily driving. That's most of the reason I I quit looking for an LBZ 2500hd to be my new tow/daily driver
