Dammit...I never had shipping problems with him. I got all of mine within a couple of weeks or so. Typically ordered two at a time to save on shipping costs. Will be saving that Jersey link for future use.

I used pull background checks for new recruits, that was just using google.
I still maintain access to my account for background checks, I could grab his whole in-depth history, but by law I can't unless I have bonified need to access it. I still use it for helping the church when they hire new employees, etc.

I had thought about having him do a re-gear and air locker install at one point based on some feedback on TW, and the fact that Navarre, FL is only about 30 minutes from my parent's house. Figured I could go visit family and get a re-gear. Never got around to even applying for approval from my better half, but guess I won't be going that route anytime soon. I hear good things about Fort Worth Gear and Axle though....so maybe, one day.....just maybe.
On a side note, it's incredible how one bad decision can impact so many areas of your life. If he'd have never done what he did the first time, he wouldn't have gotten hooked...busted...registered....lost business.

I'm not here to defend him but I deal with those lists all the time in my business. I have had a number of discussions with detectives in different cities about the list when helping my clients. A couple of detectives said something like this, "Once you get on, there is no getting off. Your clients should be more worried about the guys that are not on those lists but are on other, non published lists like, Drug Dealers, Murderers, Gang Members, Thief's, Democrats, etc."
I worked with a guy that was a ASYO coach. His assistant was a great guy, so he said. He had a wife that just picked up and left him one day. ...and she left behind her two children too. No note. No phone call. No email. Nothing. He was, apparently doing a great job of raising the two kids. He was engaged with them in EVERYTHING!!! He was a great mom and dad.
Fast forward... Someone approached my friend and said, "I saw Joe on the Sex Offender list for doing something with under-aged kids."
My friend checked and sure enough. He went over his house to talk about it. Turns out when he was 18 he was in a band. This 16 year old chick wanted to bone all the guys in the band and they did. The dad found out - apparently the dad was a cop, and all of them were busted.
The rules here don't allow for anyone to be taken off the list.
You can also be caught boning your girlfriend in a field somewhere.
I am not saying the guy is an angle. I am just saying those lists are far from perfect. Just think if they had lists for some of the things we may have done that we were not proud of. Half of us would be unemployable.
Yeah; those lists need some work. No argument there.

So how did it go?
I also got to help a friend replace his rear suspension. He went with the new EL096R Dakar Leaf pack and Bilstein shocks. He bought the shocks from 4wheelparts and they didn't include the bushings or top nut. So we re-installed the factory shocks until he could take his wife's care to 4wp and swap them out for un-opened boxes. Looked like someone had purchased and returned without the mounting hardware.

Went well, had to cut his old rear shocks out cuz the top nut post where you hold with a crescent sheared off on both sides. Rode great.
