That's Mr Asshole to you
Don't know Jeff.. but that Ebay special is probably better quality than an AllPoo.
He is a guy that works in my building that I met a few years ago. Good dude and his son and mine get along great.

Allpoo = China child labor

+ they suck for a ton of other reasons if you aren't apposed to child labor

actually have no idea where they are made now but unless they changed how they do business I bet they have nets outside to catch the suicidal employees from hitting the ground lol

I think they got bought by someone else...can't remember who though. I know that I have read that the previous owner was pretty much a douche bag with poor customer support.

I have no personal experience there. I have their IFS skid and extended brake lines. I put in a custom request on the IFS skid that was completed at no additional charge and I'm pretty sure they do not make the brake lines. I cleaned up my front skid and repainted a few spots where it had hit some rocks. Overall, it has held up well.

Everyone seems to hate them, but my experience has been good. For what little that is worth. Although, Sean did end up with an AllPro front bumper and Aaron had an AllPro rear diff after the Arkansas trip. lol

There's so many things they make that are just junk. Take a look at their "long travel" lower control arms and then compare those to TC or Camburg's Lower control arms. All-Poo's are just tubes with little reinforcement. A lot of guys have bent their control arms already and they won't warranty them. That's just one of many things. I'll tag @Silverback . Your turn to bash em lol

AP is total shit. I had their skids, they lasted about 6 months before they were bent to fuck and had actual tears in the metal. Just shit. Replaced with Bud Built, still beat on them.. they are fine 11 years later. Their bumpers are shit as well.. I had one.. used it one night, did about 3 or 4 pulls on the winch and the bumper was warped... the winch plate was bent to shit. Just shit shit shit. Seen their shitty sliders bend and make contact with the cab. I am happy to say my truck has ZERO components from AllPoo.

AP vs BB skids.

Very cool to see the side by side comparison. No doubt that bud built is superior. They seem to be one of the best when it comes to underbody protection, but have fallen out of the spotlight of the instawheelers.

Not trying to start a debate. Just stating that my experience with them (AP) has been relatively good.

AP has allot of bad history going back many years where they used their customers as R&D vs doing things the right way and doing their own R&D.

Sliders that bend under the weight of an adult male standing on them and crumple when used for rocks. Bumpers that fall apart when you use them for their intended use.

I also have their extended brake lines on the front of my truck. When I get the engine done this spring Ive already got new ones so that I take the last pc of their products off my truck.

and in 2012 they would of crumbled if a shopping cart hit them.

Using your customers as R&D is pretty shifty thing to do.

Thats why TC costs so much - they R&D their items for race use then tweak them (dumbed down) from race products to products for sale to the public.

Line up the trophy's won using TC products VS AP products and that should / this conversation lol

That says more about GM shitty build quality then the slider lol

truth.. I had a AP front bumper that can openered a Chevy Cavalier (douche knuckle came into my lane and hit on the drivers corner of the bumper) but was shit for winching. Still not even remotely as strong as the Brute Force bumper I have now.

Did the 30k service on my Sister-in-law's 2017 Tacoma. She had already had the oil changed and tires rotated, so all that was really left was to replace the air filters (engine, cabin) and the gear oil in the diffs and xfer case (Mobil1 full syn 75w-90).

I only found one greaseable u-joint and it was on the front driveshaft between the xfer case and front diff.

The test drive afterward I had some terrible shutter on braking. Asked her if that was normal and she said it had never done that before. I'm thinking "great....WTF" so I tried stopping again. Same result. I had her drive it and it didn't do it...phwew! Now I'm wondering what was different when I was braking vs. when she was braking. Felt like severe axle wrap followed by a harsh downshift.

One other thing that I thought worthy of note. She has one of those monthly carwash deals where she can go everyday if she wants. It includes an undercarriage wash. The underside of her truck was the cleanest I think I've ever seen. CV boots and everything else looked brand new. The only exception to that was the exhaust pipe. decent amount of rust there, but that's kind of to be expected. FWIW, she lives where they salt the roads heavily in the winter. I did also notice some very small surface rust on the frame toward the rear of the cab.

So a year later I got around to replacing the passenger side hub on my Sammich Maker's Tacoma. It drives a lot better with the new hub and clock spring. Now I just have to do an oil change, serpentine belt, and spark plugs to be up to date on maintenance.

I had to deploy my Dodge recovery chain again today. This time to rescue some kid that got ran off the road. Only reason I stopped was because of the poor horses. I’m not sure he was old enough to be driving lol
