What have you done to someone else's ride lately?

Co-worker has a 2016 X5 diesel with the sport package. Tires are huge. Rides awesome and handles great. Gets 28-30 mpg on the highway. It’s not cheap though. 70 or so. Lots cheaper than a new Platinum SuperDuty. LOL.

The best car I've ever driven was a 2012 BMW X5M. Insanely fast, comfortable and is one of the only cars I've ever gotten into where I've felt the interior actually matched the price (i.e. "oh this feels like a $100k car!"). It's actually my dream car to own :)
My buddy who is a car snob test drove an X5M and absolutely loved it.

Yep.. we got the wife's car title in the mail over the weekend as well. Congrats. I don't have zero debt, I do have a new truck payment... but I put $40k down on it so its not too bad.

I personally love M cars. I drove my friends Bentley recently and I have to say, although it's not a car that matches who I think I am, it was sweet and it's twin-blower 12 cylinder was fun to drive! ...and it's interior wasn't shabby. :)

I saw the video. You look good in a Bentley. You need one... or an Ultra 4 car. Same cost. :)

Box the frame of a first gen and did a home brew shock relocate.

Nice and sexy looking. How much travel are you expecting out of that setup? What about the bump stop setups?

And damn that lift is nice.

Thanks, it turned out pretty decent. The OME dakar pack is the limiter here, we did put in an AAL into the dakar pack as well forgot to mention that, as well as do the ubolt flip. The shock relocation was part of the ubolt flip since the stock 1st gen lower shock mount is built into the ubolt plate.

For the bump stops, you can kind of see in the second to last pic. He had wheelers bump stops, and wanted to retain/extend them. I welded a tube extension to the frame then cut off the old wheelers bump stop mount off, welded a nut to the backside of that then welded it to the tube extension. The bumps aren't installed in the pic, since the hardware to hold the bumpstop on was all buggered up, so he will have to procure some more socket head cap screws that hold the bump on.

We broke the pack down and set the bumps so that he'd have around 4" of uptravel and 4.5" of downtravel. The OME leaf pack is the limiter at this setup; so the shocks don't require limit straps and theres plenty of margin to prevent the shocks from topping/bottoming out. The shocks are ADS 11" travel.

Changed out the wheel bearings on my daughters Uppababy Vista Cruz stroller. This stroller is insultingly expensive (we got it as a gift) so it's horseshit that they use shit bearings. I bought a 10 pack of the same bearings off amazon for $10. It looks like plastic got into the bearings from the housing when they pressed them in.

For the cost of a crappy used car new - I agree.

Yep, and we've barely used this one too.

simple, cheap, and highly available skateboard bearings would of lasted a lifetime. Penny wise and pound foolish if they value their brand's longevity.

Good to know! I'll keep them in mind if these break again.

The BOB has a few accessories as well. Back when Kenna was in a baby carrier we had an attachment that allowed it to snap on. Then we had the snack tray attachment when she was an infant. Downside is that they do not fold up the smallest. But you can remove the rear tires in about 60 seconds and make it flatter. But man they are stout, I bet you could push your wife around in one. LOL... take video if you do. :D

I have lost count on how may we have gone through, BOB, McLaren (wish it had the BMW v12) and several others. We ended up getting a SmarTrike not too long ago and our Daughter and my wife love it. I like that the SmarTrike goes from stroller to push trike to tricycle and still folds up easily.
