What have you done to your ride lately?

Best & only advice I can give you is mind the gap. Need at minimum a 3/8" gap if it's anything like mine and close to the headlights/grill otherwise flex will eat them up.

Our frames flex more than a body builder taking selfies.

I had mine routed around the backside of the t-case. Cost more than $37 though! Thats a steal!

Got the 4Runner in the shop and got the fenders, doors, and front axle removed. Blocked the frame up behind the fire wall to where its level so I can get the new rails leveled. Also got a support under the engine. But I'm going to add another one before I actually cut the motor mounts off. Just need to unbolt the body mounts anx remove the propane/brake lines from the frame, and I should be ready to cut the old frame off. Then the fun begins!

Also got my new front brakes today as well. So I'll be putting them on as well as some new hardware and giving it a fresh coat of paint before I put it back under the rig.

Tonight got changed for a quick trip to Ft Worth for a Father's Day present. So I got my sandwich maker to use her cricket cutting machine to cut a stencil for the traction control switch in my '01 4Runner. I am going to put a couple coats of paint from a white paint pen on it before removing the stencil. Will update with an after pic once done.

The plastic face of the switch is more paint resistant than expected. I will probably work on a sticker I can put on the switch instead. This will work for a while at least.

I've got it. And I know, mines moved quite a bit before. The angle of that pic is terrible and makes the front bumper looked messed up but in person it's completely normal.

Bumper on yet?

Si señor. Quality of it is great. Only annoying thing is the hi lift mounts were a 1/4"+ off, so I had to dremel out my hi-lift bar to get it to fit. Also the installation directions it comes with might as well read "fuck you, figure it out!" lol

And yes, it's tarped off to keep the A/C inside lol

Making solid progress this morning. The sides are dovetailed in 13* and at the back fender brace 21" off center of the bed. Setting up the measurements and ensuring them all took some time but will be worth it in the end. Measure twice, mark once, forget number I was marking, measure again, mark, cut. Repeat.

Thanks; it is nice to have this big chunk knocked down. The rest of it is back to smaller detail work that is easier to work on IMO. I took it out for a spin around the neighborhood and the motor was still sucking. It acts like it is running either super rich or the spark is failing until it catches up in RPM and then it runs okay. It still has significant throttle response lag when under load.

Check your air inlet tube. Mine was cracked on the bottom (not obvious to see) and it was running like shit.. would not idle. Fixed the hole and bamm.. ran like a top. Todd and Rob found the issue for me at Long Ranch as I was not seeing it.

Yeah, A/C was trying hard to keep up. It was so damn hot this weekend that I lost 5 pounds working Friday-Sunday.

Big shoutout to @SecretSquirrel for helping me on Saturday. With his help, we got my rear bumper installed so much faster than me doing it on my own. Thanks again man!
