Thanks man. I might have to put a couple wraps of tape under the clamps, the front one seems to hold pretty tight but the rear one has a little play.

I bought mine from MarionBumper2Bumper and was happy with his service and quality. Of course, we'll see how the quality of the bearing holds up over time now. Still need to replace my inner seal and get back to those tie rods. Why does school have to take so much time and effort? It keeps me from my truck.

I know and would bet, the orginal TOR old school guys are pretty educated here. Mr. T says, Don't be a fool, stay in school!

massive mod today... about the extent of what I can do these days.

Some aluminum looms to keep my Crown air lines from rubbing against each other. I'll be honest, I just liked the look.

Started the fun part of any build, the wiring. I stripped out all the wiring from the old truck and moved it over to a piece of aluminum that i will bolt between the seats. I removed some of the shit im not going to use this time around (wipers/HIDs) and added a couple other circuits (trans fan). Mostly just did some general cleanup. My headlights will now be a set of Baja Designs Light pods i won in a raffle last year and ill also have a light bar up front. Since im not running a windshield, im thinking about installing a big single row up top along the top cross bar, but under the top of the cab.

My aluminum is coming in today so I can start on the doghouse and see where things are going to lay out.

Amazon and Jegs both sell them. Jegs has larger kits (multiple sizes) if you need more.

I wonder if they have any that have weld on bases? Im thinking it would be a clean way to hold the fuel line, wiring, etc to the frame rails.

Look at weldmoutsystems.com and adel clamps also, we used them in Army aviation for electrical and small hydraulic line

Well they are aluminum so you could tig a bracket to the bottom of one.

Sheeeetttt you think you have work to do? I'm getting the family Diesel ready for daily driving because I'm going to have the Tacoma down for a couple of weeks to overhaul everything.

Put on a new cover for my RTT. The new one (~$190) is much better - maybe. All welding seams - should hold up as well as the sewn one. It's nice to have a working zipper again!!!
