My trucks seen 3 different leaf packs, multiple overload leafs installed normal and backwards to avoid axle hop, 3 sets of front shocks, and 3 sets of rear shocks. I was just about "tuned" perfect then the motor imploded

Took the tire off to check out my slight camber issue.


Shaft broke within the spindle. Ill take the broken piece out today. It exploded in there.

im going to have to replace the entire axle probably. I bent the spindle on that side pretty good when I rolled it last weekend. easier to replace the axle than the spindle from what i have been reading.

Put the new skid plate on the Tacoma. My sammich maker asked why she needed it until she saw the difference between the stock skid and the aftermarket skid. I am not sure if this will be taken as encouragement to run stuff over or not.

Without an alignment bar and pucks, it's damn near impossible to replace one. I've looked into it to fix my warped housing and and while a bit costly at first it will allow you to do much more custom axle work in the future

Finally put the Bilsteins I bought from @italynstylion on the Tacoma. I bought them over a year ago. Now I need to adjust the fronts and put them on too.

New OME 898 springs went on today. I had Tandem Automotive do the swap since I am short on time. This is the first thing done to my truck that I have not actually done the labor on. Not as satisfying but still saved me time. Picked up 1/2" out back

Is the frame still there?

My frames great. Always took good care of it. Now, I can't see behind the multiple plies of crappy laminated steel but the outside and inside look good where the rot issues happen. I sanded it all down up to the front cab mounts and re-painted it all about 2-3 summers ago right before the engine let totally go.

Picked up some 08 heated mirrors. Spent a few hours reading the schematics and studying the wire colors then installing. Wasn't too bad and I'm happy with the results






While I was wiring stuff up and changing bulbs, I converted the brake lights and reverse lights to LEDs. Left is LEDs and right is stock, subtle difference


I then removed the seats and ran the wiring for OEM heated seats, I need to source the connectors for the heated seats as they have more pinouts than the regular power seats

I also installed switchback LED running lights/turn signals, they are pretty bright and am happy with how they turned out. I just need to get some brighter headlights now
