What have you done to your ride lately?

Good looking set of Tacomas.

Dude had 37s! Army guy. Real nice.

Say what you want about TW, but I've been pleased with the folks here in Georgia. I'll lure some over here for sure, but they seem like pretty good folks. I mentioned wanting a camper top. Less than a week later someone posted a link to Facebook marketplace, someone else tagged me, and i started talking to the seller.

Seller was 2.5 hours away and not willing to hold it until Saturday. This guy contacted me and said that he would go pick it up (on his longbed), front the cash to pick it up, and then decided to meet me more than halfway. I want expecting any of that.

Sounds like a damn good guy. Glad he did not get too attached with that custom look though.

I will check those out. Dealer quoted me $469.06 per axle....nope to the max on that.
Fuck that. Just rebuild it yourself.

The guy who picked up the ECGS removal tool from me when I was done on Friday said he had one for quite a while and hasn't had any issue with it. Since putting that one on his passenger side, he's replaced the driver side with NAPA lifetime warranty CV axles either 7 or 10 times (can't remember which). Either way, it has outlasted the other option.

OE Yota will always beat the new junk from NAPA/Autozone/etc.

Yep, always try to rebuild your OEM Toyota axle if you can. I've rebuilt my driverside like three times now IIRC.

About to install this before I head back to Oklahoma. Was going to put on my new steering stabilizer, but the fucking thing did not come with hardware and you can’t reuse OE stuff.

Done. Mounted it to a fuse panel on the driver side under the hood. Ran a bolt through the lid and made it where I can remove it easily with just a 3/8 nut driver. I also added foam tape on the bottom and side to soak up any vibration.

Ran the switch inside the cab and mounted it in an easy to reach location that’s out of the way. I don’t know wtf Ford uses for firewall grommets, but it self heals and is a bitch to get through.

Can you change switch positions while the truck is powered on? Or will that cause problems?
They recommend setting it and forgetting it so I’d imagine it would be best to set it before starting the engine since it works of fuel pressure. They don’t say you can’t, but better safe then sorry. I like that it doesn’t mess with factory computer and leaves no trace. Hell the service manager at my dealer is the one that told me about it lol
