I had air bags on my mustang to offset the rear DS squat on take off lol

No air compressor - just a bike pump and bags at 10psi

I didn’t plan on looking for coil seals today, $17.50 later...these were damaged from the factory and what a pita to remove from the sleeves.

New plugs and coil tips and replaced 3 coil seals, I added dielectric grease to all coil seals to prevent what happened before.

Got the new stabilizer kit installed. Spoke with Trevor at PMF fab, it turns out they sent me the center bracket mean for Bilstein shocks, the ones for king/fox shocks have a closer mounting hole. He made good for it and shipped me a new center bracket and a shipping return label to send the wrong one back.

The King/Fox mount is on the right.

At full lock I have about 1/4" clearance on the mount, still close but no chance it'll ever hit since the knuckle is against the steering stop here.

Finished up and took it for a spin, drive much nicer than the old worn out OEM junk that was on there for sure.

coil’s and UCA’s installed yesterday, ran into one issue, seems Ferd uses some really crappy stabilizer links, driver side will not tighten or come off with impact, probably 3/16 of play, , maybe more, but they will be removed with the sawzaw tonight and replaced with these.

Then off to the alignment shop somewhere, someday, sometime soon.

Thanks I'm happy with the setup now that it actually works lol I'd do the same if I were you, my stock one was ok until I went up in tire size then I really noticed the bump steer.

Check into PMF fab if you do end up going that route in the future, they make some nice shit compared to the big brands. All the welds were super nice, we will see how their powder coating holds up over time.

I've had similar problem with tie rod ends on the taco, what I did was put a little bit of pressure on the bottom of the joint with a floor jack. Not alot but just to keep the joint from spinning. Not sure if it's possible with that configuration but figured I'd throw it out there. Otherwise, the trust sawzall and angle grinder always work :D

Will do, have not noticed bump steer with the 35's yet. It feels a little "loose" above 70, so I want a double to tighten that up for road trips. I hardly ever get above 65 on a daily basis.

Totally forgot, there is a Firestone on base, and they happened to have a 7am appointment open this morning, win, win.

The mechanic said he fought to get better numbers, he wants me to come back in 4-6months to do another alignment, he said it will be easier after the new parts/coil settle in, I think that makes sense/logical.

I never have done alignments nor do I have experience in that, I do know to mark everything when you remove or loosen, so that it goes back in almost the same position, but he said on a older vehicle he would replace a ball joint or something, and he said the alignment is fairly easy compared to a vehicle with new suspension and major components were disassembled, I don’t know, maybe he was feeding me Texas BS.

No it makes since to have it checked again after it settles. That's why I'm having them do mine again now that I've got a few thousand miles on mine. Just got a call from the dealer and apparently they are replacing my track bar ball joint and bushing under warranty.

good deal, guess they needed extra funds to charge back to the manufacture for probably unneeded warranty work, lol

Probably so, I do know the front cover is leaking and I'm scheduled to bring it in next week to have that fixed. From what I've read, this and the upper oil pan seem to be common oil leaks on this gen 6.7 engine. Looks like they went away from the solid gasket to silicone and the corners don't get enough at the factory or some shit. I'm just glad mine started under warranty

Wait... really? You are looking for enough power to spin the tires chasing the Dirt Squirrel around? Keep me in mind if you do not find a donor.
