Also ordered a new CV axle. My passenger is leaking pretty bad. That will be next weekends project.

Just order some RCV axles. :)

I ordered the high angle axle from these guys. www.cvjreman.com Plan to just do the leaking axle now and then when I am up there in Colorado in a few months go ahead and get the other in person to avoid shipping.

Pony express my 2 old ones and bring back 2 for me?

Yeah I don't need one at all. Tell me more about this Stealth module. :D
lol
It interrupts the fuel pressure signal and increases it for more hp, throttle response and the reason I got it, fuel mileage (after I put on 35 it got me back to my stock numbers) it's a simple install

All my parts are finally here. Now I just need to put in an order for some time.

Didnt get shit done this weekend. Woke up yesterday and my back/shoulder was fucked. So I took it easy and washed the truck, cleaned out the garage, and scheduled 3 appointments with the chiropractor this week so that hopefully I can make some headway on the truck next weekend. Truck cleaned up decent but damn this thing needs a paint job or wrap. Not in the cards anytime soon though, maybe next year. I'll see what it looks like after I get the PDR and detail done on it.

Changed my oil and it turned into a fucking mess. Last time the dealer changed it since I was short on time and I was next door to them for a work deal. Well...the drain plug was finger tight at best, drain plug gasket was sized on like they didnt change it last time, then the whole fucking filter housing came out when I tried to loosen the first cap. Oil went all over the floor, my arm and the skid plate. Had to remove the skid plate and clean everything up. I am suspecting they didnt change the filter or they didnt lube the O rings to prevent that from happening.
I guess that was the fist and only time the dealer will change the oil in this thing.

I had the same shit happen on our 4Runner. Maybe I forgot to lube that o-ring. I purchased one of the metal filter housings to replace it, but traded it before I got a change to install it. I have a new one in box if you want it.

I should be able to do that. Might be tight on space if my pronghorn mount is ready to pick up on the way home but I guess I can strap the axles to the roof.

God damn-it... I knew I should not have clicked on this link.
Bully Dog

Additional 210 ft/lbs of torque and 130 horse for $400. I did not buy it. But its in my brain... growing.
A lot of these just move your throttle response up making it "feel" like you're getting more horsepower.
You don’t want that one, anyways
X2!

I have a SCT X4 with 5 star for the tuning(life time tunes) they have dyno results from stock and with aftermarket mods, 5 star will give custom tunes based on your mods or after tune ups and/or ecm flash updates.

Changing the oil on the 4R is a pain in the ass. Glad it's every 10k miles though.

That blows chunks. Next time you change your oil try to remember to write the mileage & date on the filter then if you ever take it in for service you'll know if they actually changed it with a quick glance.

That's a great idea. The problem with the 5th gen 4Runner is that the filter isn't a spin-on style like you pictured. You remove a plastic housing and replace just the filter media, much like the old 90s Camry. Once it's been replaced, you screw back on the same cap that you took off.

Shit....well then how about a plastic service record log like they use on HVAC systems?
Could zip tie it up there next to the filter maybe? IDK - I'm clueless with 4Runners.

That would be pretty funny.

Maybe one of those stickers that shows "void" when removed. Put a new one on every time you change the oil!
