What have you done to your ride lately?

82k so I really have 18k or 4 more years to blow it. at least my cracks never got any worse.

One thing that pissed me off is that Subaru has no reliable standard for checking shocks other than "it's not leaking". I know my shocks are shot, but they only visually inspect them for leaks. For all I know they could be charged with gas - thus never leak any fluid.?.

The morning I dropped it off I showed the service writer they were blown by doing the push test that I consider to be valid.... I pushed it down from the hood with both of my hands and leaned my body weight into it for good compression on both front corners. To me if it bounces more than once - they are crap and need replaced. They bounced more than a stripper with DD's horseback riding. To me that means 'blown' especially since it bottoms out all the time now on small bumps in the road. Reminds me of my new Tacoma that couldn't handle the weight of a 300# snowblower in the bed until I got new leaf springs.

Maybe it's time for an e-mail to corporate. Subaru North American HQ is less than 10 miles from me so worst case I could take a drive
Why don't you help the shocks leak? lol A tiny drill bit to put a tiny pin hole goes a long way lol

If anything I'd just apply some gear oil to the shafts and bodies then maybe some dirt (road grime). Trying to turn over a new leaf tw positivity and honesty and feel that drilling might be a little too shady. Oil would still be shady, but a little less lol

They'll just wipe off the oil and say they didn't find any leaks. Gotta get aggressive with it

I do have some small drill bits....

Cleaned out the car completely before I took it there. Decided before anything goes back in it needed a deep clean so I did the interior this morning.

Dumped out my First Aid kit on my bed and went through item by item then replaced it with stock from my house supplies. I had some meds that expired waaaay too long ago lol Added some covid specific items as well (masks/Purell/etc.). Also read up on my snake poison extraction cups so I know the basics - got them years ago but never read up on it. Also re-read my field first aid manual to remind myself of the basics.

Took me 3hrs to get it all in order, cleaned, and put back in an efficient manner. Also did the same for my fire starting kit, roadside kit, and hydration kit. Also put put my winter emergency kit to keep myself from freezing so I don't forget.

Cars now good to go ~ Full of supplies and all service items up to date. Think I may take a trip up North to visit some friends and camp for a little bit. That said I usually keep some nutrient bars in the car but kept them out - if I do go North is will be a dense black bear territory.

Only thing I really need to add is some first aid stickers to my dry box so others know whats in it - it's red but no cross on it nor any labeling.

I really hate how small the wire is for the turn signals. A few weeks ago the front passenger signal stopped working due to a broken wire. Today I broke out the multimeter to find the break and then replaced it. I soldered in a good section of cable and secured it to prevent any vibrations from breaking the solders. Now that the weather is cooling off I am looking to line up replacing the front light bar and installing the transmission shift kit.

That's Mr Asshole to you
This cooler weather is so welcomed. I know its still warm but I hope the crazy heat is gone for the year.

The sending unit wires are also minuscule. I thought my sending unit was bad - dropped the tank and the sending unit wire was broken. No idea how it happened but I'm imagining I was breaking trail through brush and a small stick got up there somehow.

So far so good here. Was 60* this morning at 5am and didn't get over 80* today. Funny part is I got a chill while walking around in my backyard drinking my morning coffee and I liked every minute of it. Dropping into the 50's later this week. I can't wait for the skeeters to die off.

70* here and windy. Going to be perfect jeans/hoody weather tonight. Air is brisk rt now.

Think Ill start a bonfire in the backyard and pour some beer out for my homies stuck on the West Coast. Getting really freaking bored after working on the yard lately. Only so much drinking alone a man can do ~ Time to find some strange.

Only chicks Ive ever pulled from a bar were typical NJ one night stand sluts. That said - thats what we were targeting - Would show up a hr or so before closing like a wolf stalking sheep. Also helped our buddys were the bartenders so they would point out the primed and ready ones that were taking smack to them about looking for dick.

Might sign up online for the first time in my life. Also going to start going to church - not for that specifically, but I always remember nice women attending when I used to go.

I could prob have a booty call slut stop by tonight but looking for more than that. They are all nutz. Would like the ability to have a challenging conversation not some duck faced fake ass self absorbed chick I need to get drunk to even call or talk to lol

Dude, this is the age of the bootycall. Tinder & all those other apps are easy now. You should hit up @SecretSquirrel he had the formula down pretty good.

Not to keep bringing it up, but WHY TF are you not working on the Tacoma?

Ive told you numerous times and it's getting exhausting + I don't see how having to explain my ever changing priorities serves anyone.
