What have you done to your ride lately?

That seems dumb to block the vents like that. It'll be nice for keeping the unit cool in the summer, but suck for keeping you cool.

Seems like the heat blowing in the winter would be bad for the electronics (potentially). Otherwise, it is a cool setup.
It really doesn't block any air flow. And it blocks even less for me because I can't stand the air blowing directly in my face so I have them pointed up 90% of the time anyway. And I don't think I've ever run heat through those vents. Always run the best through the bottom vents. Regardless, there's only so many options you have to fit a 9" screen in a vehicle that wasn't designed for it.

My Kenwood wanted you to set the parking brake to be able to watch movies and stuff. But turns out that it simply wants a ground.. so attach it to ground instead of the parking brake and problem solved.
Yeah this one is a little more complicated. Probably so you can't do exactly what you said. But someone still built a workaround for it. This one you have to push the parking brake, release it, and then push it again and then it unlocks. But the bypass module was only like $13 I think so not bad at all.

You can just do that with a little switch mounted to ground and manually toggle it when you start the truck. Or something similar with a time delay relay like this.

Or I can just wire in the little bypass module lol

Well I had good intentions. Got the pressure washer running... picked up a new "turbo or tornado" attachment for it, got out the foam cannon and soap, all this was done last night. Got up today and its raining. Was planning to wash off the dirt and mud from Arkansas years ago. LOL Before that trip was the last time it has been washed. Maybe it will clear up this afternoon. :D

Went to the deer lease last night to see about a turkey this morning. I get back to the house and go to open the truck fridge and it has no power. Plug has no power and the breakfast food inside was not real cold. Fuck.
Come home since the turkey hunting was slow and pull out the volt meter. Turns out some mice or rats got into my engine bay last night and chewed the power wire for my accessories and the power wire for the light bar.
Was able to get it fixed and buttoned up but man what a PITA.

Any ideas on how to keep mice out? I saw something about moth balls and dryer sheets, but both of those sorta suck for under an engine bay.

Not sure. We have poison out for the rodents but they haven't touched it in a while. Guess we need to set some traps next time we go.

I use cayenne pepper powder in the engine bay for squirrels, it should work for mice as well.
