What have you done to your ride lately?

Finally got around to installing the PCV blow by catch can. I figured after an oil change and before a long drive would be a good time to get a clean test on how much is coming out the PCV valve. No matter what I am glad it is not going into the intake of the supercharger anymore.
I consider it to be extra lubrication for the rotors

How are you liking your setup now? I am going to shut my rig down for a day to do the TransGo install in a couple weeks.

The new fridge was getting terrible voltage drop and kept cutting off. Dug into my set up and the 12v plug was fried. The power wire was pretty much welded to the prong. New plug, New connector, bigger ground and its operating normal now.
Not sure if my old ground was not enough or if my old fridge fried the plug when it crapped out.

Loving it! The TransGo kit is sweet. 1-2 shift in 4Lo will knock your teeth out if you’re accelerating decently hard though. I have chirped tires shifting 1-2 on smooth pavement once or twice. I was putting out 9.3 psi last time I ran it out on a cool evening

Those results are exactly what I am looking forward to.

Today I spent a little time adjusting the rear Kings after getting the RTT and awning on my 4Runner. It is really nice being able to adjust the shocks a little and then have the real smooth ride back.

Got the subwoofer working. And pulled all the mess of wiring out of the engine bay. The poor guy tried but he had no idea what he was doing. Now that's everything is out if the way except the dual battery solenoid, subwoofer, and winch wiring, I can redo it from scratch. Though I'll be redoing all three of those systems as well. But for now they'll work as is.

Two of the Method 305 wheels from my Tacoma were bent in the roll. One was able to still be balanced with a little bit of extra weights, one wasn't usable. So I bought a new wheel which will be here Monday and then I'll have them and the Toyo AT3s put on the 4Runner and move the TRD wheels and Nittos over to the Tacoma. If the bent wheel with the extra weights on it gives me any problems down the line, I'll replace it as well. Was going to order a whole new set of wheels but the ones I want either aren't available for another couple of months or are more money than I wanna spend.

Dropped $107 worth of diesel in it and dropped it off at the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. I sure was enjoying the temp this morning and I guess my truck was too because it was sipping fuel at 70 on the freeway with the cruise set.

$107 in diesel? I hope that lasts a few weeks. I am getting a little spoiled not driving to work every day now.

Should last a few months since I normally only drive it on weekends if at all.

Added a Pedal Commander. Haven't gotten to play with the settings a lot yet but so far I like it. Just need to get it tuned in exactly where I want it. Need to get one of the little sticky ziptie mounts as well to keep the cable in place.

I'm missing two more below that one as well. Took out all the switches for the wiring I removed. Just haven't ordered any blanks to fill them in yet.

Busy day working on the 4runner.
475 miles on the new gears so I changed the diff fluid as well as the transfer case fluid.
Greased the drive shaft zerks and the UCA zerks.
Cleaned and touch up paint the skid plates and put them back on after being off for 8 months.
Changed the engine and cabin air filter.

With 93k miles I think this will be the majority of the maintenance till 100k miles when I plan to flush the power steering fluid, transmission, and radiator.

Been playing with the Alpine Halo9 headunit in the 4Runner. I'm really liking this thing. It's nice having everything built in instead of having to run the Torque app on another device. Seeing actual PSI readout for the tires is nice as well rather than just the factory TPMS light in the dash. The only negative I have so far on it is that it's only a 480p screen. I really don't see a reason why they couldn't have made it 1080p. Bought a bypass module I need to install in it also. From the factory, you can't even access the setting did the radio without setting the parking brake. This will fix that as well as allow me to use the HDMI input without the parking brake set. No that I would because it's illegal... Yeah definitely wouldn't do that.

That seems dumb to block the vents like that. It'll be nice for keeping the unit cool in the summer, but suck for keeping you cool.

Seems like the heat blowing in the winter would be bad for the electronics (potentially). Otherwise, it is a cool setup.

My Kenwood wanted you to set the parking brake to be able to watch movies and stuff. But turns out that it simply wants a ground.. so attach it to ground instead of the parking brake and problem solved.
