Going to reinstall my oem oil pressure gauge since the tube to my aftermarket one is leaking oil and making a mess.

I once had one drain nearly all my oil before I new it! I was 18. We pulled over and put some oil in. The engine was so hot it caught on fire!!! We put it out with beer! We later found out that the engine only had one qt in it! I do remember having to rebuilt that engine about a year later!!!

Finished my brake overhaul. New drums to boot. Wow!! I've never had such a good e-brake! Funny how good the brakes work without bent backing plates.

And I found a crack in one of the drums. This time, with the new drums, I coated the interface with some anti-seze compound.

Friday while I was driving to the park where my parents were camping my truck started shaking really bad and the CEL came on. Pulled the code yesterday and it was P0304. Misfire in cylinder #4. So today I changed 5 of the 6 spark plugs. Number 6 is a bitch and a half to get to without pulling the upper intake. And since I was working with limited tools in my apartment parking lot, I didn't want to do that at the moment. I'll change it in Friday when I can get to my dad's shop and pull the intake. But my CEL is gone now and the violent shakes at 55-65mph are gone. Was getting a slight vibration at idle on the first crank up but it appears to be gone now.

Pulled my console vault out of my Tacoma to see what the hell had been rattling in there for tha past couple of months. Found a missing magazine for my 1911 and a 20 dollar bill. Score and rattle is gone.

Finished cleaning up the mess I just made in my garage. I screwed the oil pressure sender into the wrong port on the block. Shot about 4 qts of oil all over the fucking place. Fuck. I need to pull my head out of my ass and pay closer attention to stuff like that. Luckily I killed the engine quickly before it went completely dry. Dammit.

Replaced the driver side wheel bearing assembly in about a half hour yesterday. Truck is working again
