This truck is determined to sit on jack stands. I ordered new axle retention clips from Toyota and they arrived yesterday. So. This should keep the axle in place. Appears is is. Can't just pull the axle out by hand now. But during assembly I grabbed the tire as I put it on and it wobbled back and forth. Fucking unit bearing took a healthy shit. Now mind you, about a month ago before I ordered new inner and outer tre's and new boots I had the truck in the air and me a buddy did a complete inspection to determine the clunk noise. So somehow in the maybe 75 miles I have driven since I ordered parts and then put it on jack stands they have gone to shit. Good news is I texted the guy who runs bluebearings.com and he is FedExing me a compete assembly with the Koyo bearing... Today. Score. Damn front end has cost me... Let's see. 4 boots @ $50 a pop, 2 adapters @ $60 a pop, inner and outer TRE's... $160. Now a hub assembly. $279. Oh.. Almost forgot the $80 I spent on OEM boots which I didn't use. $840!!. Thing better be good for a while.

Replaced my inner and outer tie rods and did an oil change. Replaced the inners with the Moogs I ordered last week and picked up some new OEM outers this morning at Toyota of Dallas. Then I cleaned all the shit out of my cab and took the dirty bitch through the car wash. Then I got rear ended. (Not so) Luckily there is no damage to my truck but the Civic that hit me got his hood fucked up by my hitch. Oh and it happened in a car wash. Apparently if your tires are too big, sometimes they'll "jump" over the little rollers that push you through the car wash. So I was sitting there not moving and the car behind me got rolled into my truck. I honked for about 20 seconds trying to get the employees attention hoping they'd kill the wash but they didn't. Eventually the guy hit me and pushed me through the rest of the car wash. He wasn't even mad and didn't even tell the manager of the wash. Just said "It's cool man. It's no big deal" and drove off. It was a brand new fucking Civic and his hood was fucked. I would have been livid.
