Finished swapping in the new front hubs/bearings on the Tacoma last night. Happy to say the front end growl has disappeared.

I'm going to swap injectors 1 & 3 to again see if the code moves cylinders. I have a bad feeling, with the recent coolant issues, now this, that it will be a head gasket problem.

You need to take pressure readings, that one plug was oil soaked, possible that cylinder ring is worn/burned, if it is lower than others go to a heavy weight oil and put a hotter plug in that one cylinder

Thats a good idea. After I try the injector swap, when I have time, if it doesn't show any positive results I'm out of tools required to dig any deeper at my house. Going to be $hop time.

Got my new drop hitch finish welded and gusseted. Waiting on the paint to dry now. Also got my Primus IQ brake controller installed.

The Tacoma should be ready to tow the red truck a little better now.

Yessir. No more driving to the trail if I can help it. The drive back is the uncertain part.

Curious to see the review; I have been needing to get my Taco setup with one.

I've been using that brake controller for a few years now in my taco, easy install and has been working great with RV and lowboy, I placed mine in center

I'm hoping that it was worth the investment. It was sketchy as shit pulling the trailer and red truck without using the trailer brakes before.

Melted a spot on the Crown Performance ARB line for the front locker. :( I had pulled the skid when I was working on those CV's and looking for the "slight clunk".. during this the line dropped down and melted against the exhaust. Anyhow.. new one on order. Lesson learned. I have attached tie down points for the air line to be zip tied to. One thing to mention though, as melted as that line is.. it really only barely leaks.... but barely is still a leak.

I did the same thing when I ran the line to my front, turned her on to check for leaks before I "zipped" it up and the line fell on the exhaust and melted.
