New TRD CAI - but they didn't include the sticker that was the reason I bought it. Morning Glory has adopted CA smog rules and they suck. Waiting days just to get the stupid stickers (CARB for S/C and CAI) so that I can pass smog.

So even if the emissions test is lower than the limit... Without the sticker it fails? That's crazy. Gotta feed the machine somehow I guess.

The new (er) rig is complete minus a motor but I needs the stock diffs pulled out and stuff from the green truck swapped in. Diffs, drive train lift, motor ect. Lots to do, more than we could possibly get done really but if we could just get the ball rolling and the big stuff done then I'll be well on my way. I'm going to order a new clutch asap just incase we actually get the engine & Trans both installed.

Too bad you don't have a lift would be stupid easy if we could pull the cab off to swap everything in over in a matter of hours

Installed. Still need an alignment. Only one eccentric was seized in the old LCA's. Could have reused 85% of the hardware but very glad I got new hardware, I bet had I not had that box of new hardware every single one would have been seized. LOL

Did my 85k service this morning on my truck. Replaced the front brake pads too. Still had some life left.

It drives great.. not sure its the placebo effect or what. But its a much more direct movement when I turn the wheel. Could be the reason I swapped them out to begin with though.
