Yep. The slide will be mounted in the cargo area. I'm not willing to drill holes through my floor to bolt it in like a lot of people seem to be planning to do. So my plan is to cut a piece of 3/4" MDF that will fit the cargo area and use carriage bolts coming up from the bottom to mount the slide to the MDF. If necessary (and probably even if not) I'll have a way to tie the MDF into the stock tie down points so I don't have to worry about it trying to flip forward when I have the fridge slid all the way out. Then I'll use roll on bedliner on the wood so it doesn't stand out so bad and won't let stuff slide around when loaded. That's this weekend's project. Along with getting power ran back to it.
I made a set of brackets that utilize existing seat and seatbelt holes.

I would tie thing down in the event of an accident.. a fridge full of beer is a heavy projectile.. even when mounted to a sheet of 3/4" MDF which is more weight.. and may break apart. I would anchor it somehow.

And considering it will most likely have beer in it - I would not anchor it within arms reach of the front seats.

Has anyone heard of LEO/State Troopers asking to see the Proof of Inspection papers? I was told by a county clerk to keep it in the truck because they are asking for them. The fact you have the tag does not mean you do not have to have the proof of inspection. It is a Catch 22 that is making them ticket money.

I wouldn't have been issued a new registration sticker if I didn't have the inspection in the system. fucking assholes.

Exactly; but as they are "explaining" it around here the tag does not legally provide proof of inspection. So they are nailing pretty much everyone to the point that the clerks are warning people when they give them their tags. It is supposed to be an easy dismissal ticket for $20 but they are making a killing off of it.

Following the FSM for my P0420 I ordered a new upstream O2 sensor last night. The previous owner replaced the rear sensor (which is actually the next step in the FSM) so I went with the front sensor since it has 200k miles on it. I will probably go ahead and replace the entire exhaust this summer if I can because the muffler is a replacement and is starting to rattle.

I have a letter from the county last year, sent to me cause I got a 3yr Reg tag late in 2014 for the Tacoma, exp in 2017.
Letter said I need to take my truck and have it inspected annually until my regerstration catches up with the one sticker program.
Also stated that I need to keep the insp letter with the vehicle, I threw the letter away I think... and no I have not had an inspection, nor plan to get one until next year because I've learned from Blake to be an outlaw. If I get pulled over and get a ticket for no current insp, it is a fix it ticket, as per my LEO cuz told me.

Yep, the guy at my inspection place emphasized several times to make a copy and keep it in the truck. I scanned mine in and saved a copy to my dropbox account as well as have the paper in my glovebox on top of my insurance card.

I have to heat up and clean the loctite off of my bolts lol I make sure to loctite em everytime.

I just chase with a tap and die from time-to-time. My spindles were pretty gunked up. :) I like Loctite® since I don't live in 'Jersey.
