And remember, some of our trucks ABS system will pump and pump and pump when you step on the brake pedal
Only the Offroads, correct? My sport doesn't have that feature.

Older Sports like ours should be fine. No idea about the new ones with all the electronic braking rear diff/esc junk.
I typically end up wearing diff fluid at some point in the process. My cheap little pump exploded the last time I used it. Won't do that again.
The power bleeder is my last resort at this point. We bled the shit out of my brakes to no avail. I even had the toyota tech at Jambo bleed the ABS with his scan tool.
And with the constant draining and filling I have given up on running Red Line in my truck. I'll just stick with the cheap synthetic from now on. I have four gallons at home, thanks Amazon.
@SMKYTXN What are you having issues with? The front brakes or the back brakes? I was having issues with my drivers side front brake, as the truck kept pulling to the side when braking. I pulled the caliper off and inspected it and found the issue. The 4 piston system that Toyota uses for our brakes have these tiny little seals around them held on by a little circular spring. They are really easy to tear and I have no idea why Toyota thought this was a good design. I bought a couple of caliper piston rebuild kit and it took me ~2 hours to rebuild the 4 pistons on one caliper with my stepdad helping me. You need a second set of hands as it's impossible to hold the gasket on while trying to pop the spring around the gasket. I think we ended up tearing 3 out 8 of the little gaskets
If that is your issue, then just go to Vatozone and pick up a rebuilt caliper. It's like $40 after you return your core.

My issue was simpler than that. I had air in the lines that just wouldn't come out. We pedal bled the system repeatedly and also had the tech bleed the ABS. I picked up a power bleeder when I got home. With the power bleeder I was able to get a good amount of air out of the left rear. I'm back to 100% now.
Thanks for the heads up on the calipers. I'll go for the rebuilt unit if/when I need too.
The road hazzard cert has paid for itself more than a few times since I first started buying with Discount in 2005.
