Well my Warn M8000 wouldn't freespool, the clutch would not engage. I had previously clocked the end so that the handle was easily accessible in the bumper. Apparently one of the very bottom bolts in the outer ring wasn't tight enough and fell out! Allowing water/mud/shit/etc into the clutch and planetary assembly of the winch. So I pulled it all apart, what a fawking mess! Rust, mud, grease, general nastyness. So I cleaned it all up, breaking out the wire wheel to clean up the rust (just surface) and then lubed it all back up and put back together. Worked like a champ. Still need to contact Warn to get a replacement bolt though. But its nice to be able to freespool again.

Well I drove up to Dallas today, managed to really SMOKE my Pioneer Premier 5.25"s up front on the ride up! They couldn't handle the power I suppose. Time for a replacement.. won't be those because they stopped making them and the replacement for them is $800! Fawk-that!

I bet its the composite bed that scares people. I know that would be my biggest concern. I'm anxious to see how Randy seals it all up.
